A: Timing is important when ordering the perfect dress, and we take that as seriously as you do. We advise placing an order a minimum of 8 weeks before you need to wear the wedding dress. If ordering a dress to attend a wedding party or special occasion, then please place the order at least 5 weeks in advance.
Why so long? We make dresses to order from scratch so they may take longer to arrive than you’re used to with other online sellers. The tailoring period for wedding dresses is 10-14 working days and for wedding party dresses it takes 7-9 working days, plus a shipping time of 3-8 working days (exact shipping times depend on the carrier and shipping method chosen at Checkout).
The best way to ensure a stress-free shopping experience is to allow plenty of time for our tailoring and shipping periods, plus additional time to try on the dress and make any necessary alterations once it arrives.
A: Our dresses aren't just pulled from a warehouse - once your order is confirmed, our tailors begin selecting materials in the color you requested and cutting fabric based on your measurements. Even standard size dresses are made to order for each customer. The custom nature of our dresses means our cancellation and return policy is stricter than for other items, so it's important to order carefully. For full details, see our Return and Cancelation Policy.
A: Each dress is carefully tailored to match exactly what you see in the photos, and unfortunately we are unable to modify the style, length or material in any way. If you haven't found exactly what you're looking for yet, the “Narrow by” search function of each dress category’s main page can help you find the perfect combination.
A: We only have photos of our models wearing the dress, but sometimes customers post photos of themselves in the dress on the product page. You can also post a request for photos and your email on the page, in case others who have bought the dress want to reply with pictures.
A: When ordering a dress for your special occasion online, you’re right to pay close attention to getting the size right! Since we’re an international company, our clothing may run larger or smaller than the standard sizes you’re used to. Checking the actual measurements in our size chart and comparing them to your own measurements before placing your order is the best way to avoid size errors.
If you're ordering a custom-sized dress, it's especially important to get your measurements exactly right. Getting professionally measured is the most reliable way to ensure the final product reaches you tailored perfectly. Be sure to check out our measuring guide.
If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few centimeters in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. If you have any other questions about ordering the right size, don’t hesitate to contact us.
A: Absolutely – If our standard sizes don't work for you, we can make you a custom-sized dress for an extra charge of just USD $19.99. When ordering, you'll need to check the box for “Custom measurements” below the dress’ drop-down size menu and tell us your measurements in centimeters. Getting professionally measured is best, but if you want to do it yourself be sure to read our measuring guide first. Avoid common
stakes by doing the following:
Ask someone else to measure for you
Take measurements while wearing undergarments similar to what you'll wear with the dress
Provide a bust measurement from the fullest part of your chest, not your bra size
For accurate measurments, take your measurements in the latter part of the day rather than the morning
Measure hollow-to -floor while wearing shoes of the same height you'll wear with the dress
A: Yes. If your size fluctuates or you want to modify the dress slightly, we always leave a few centimeters in the seams so that your local tailor can easily make alterations as needed. Dresses generally have a margin of 2.5 cm on either side of a seam. Flower detailing, beading or belts/ribbons may limit ability to let a dress out.
A: We use the hollow to the floor measurement to determine where the knee is and then cut the correct length according to the dress design.
A: Yes, our tailor will cut the dress length exactly according to the hollow to the floor measurement you provide. If you'd like the dress longer to better fit when wearing high heels, just add the length you need on to your hollow to the floor measurement.
A: There might be a slight difference between the actual dress’ color and what you see in the photo depending on your computer monitor's display settings.
