Maintenance guidelines
Before using any agents or detergent to wash your handbags, you should first try the detergent out on some inconspicuous place of your bag to guarantee that the cleaner won't do any damage to the material of your bag.
- Usually, to clean your bag, you should use some cleaning brush or cotton cloth suitable for different textures to wipe off dust that has accumulated with use.
- For leather handbags, we would suggest that you clean them with specialized leather detergent on a soft cloth that won't scratch the material. Spread the detergent evenly over your bag, and remember to wipe it clean after.
- Erasers with dual use for pencil and pen can be used to clean suede bags. We also recommend the use of a soft bristle brush to clean off the dust. Brush lightly to remove accumulated debris, being careful not to use too much force as it may damage the suede.
- When cleaning your bag nylon or cloth bag, you can use a damp cloth to dab gently at the surface. Apart from handbags of silk or satin, you can also use a toothbrush combined with mild soap to do local cleaning.
- Whatever material your bag is made of, remember to dry your washed back in a shady place with good ventilation. Handbags are the most sensitive to damage just after cleaning, and sudden exposures to high temperatures may cause your bag's colors to fade. Particularly for leather, overexposure to sunlight can cause the material to turn stiff and brittle.
- For handbags covered with decorations, we suggest that you wipe it clean separately with a dry cloth after washing.
