We hope you love your Made-To-Order wrap and will wear it over and over. Because our fabrics are carefully selected for durability and quality, with just a little care, your wrap will stay beautiful through many years and many special occasions. Follow these simple tips to clean, preserve and remove stains from your wrap.
All of our wraps are made of beautiful, high-quality fabrics that are:
- Dry clean only
Dry cleaning helps colors stay bright and preserves the beauty and sheen of our satin and satin-like fabrics. Since heat can be damaging to the fabric of our wraps, dry cleaning minimizes the need to use dryers, irons and steamers to dry or remove wrinkles. It also prevents wear and tear on delicate detailing such as lace appliques, bows, beading, ruching and embroidery. Finally, dry cleaning after each wear will prevent body oils, deodorant residue or unnoticed stains left on the fabric from setting in and discoloring it over time.
Many stains can be removed completely if treated before they set in. Take stains to a professional dry cleaner as soon as possible for best results. Tell the cleaner what caused the stain so they can treat it properly. If you're unable to take your wrap to a dry cleaner right away, you can follow these guidelines to treat the stain yourself.
-Dab gently to remove any excess stain. If there is residue, scrape it off with a dull knife.
-Never rub as that may spread or push the stain deeper into the fabric.
-Use a clean white cloth to dab. Avoid tissue or paper towels that could leave a residue.
-Don’t use soaps or pre-treating chemicals on the dress if you will take it to a dry cleaner later, as the chemicals could react and damage the fabric.
-Oil-based stains should be sprinkled with an absorber such as baby powder or cornstarch. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then brush off completely and dab with a cloth. Dry clean as soon as possible. Common oil based stains: makeup, grease or butter, deodorant, gasoline or body lotions.
-For non-oil-based stains, place a white cloth underneath the stain and dab at the stain with another white cloth dipped in cool water. Common non oil-based stains: juices, coffee/tea, bodily fluids, red wine, mud, ink, baby food/formula.
-Soak persistent stains in cool water until they come out (up to 24 hours). Remaining stains should be taken to a dry cleaner.
-Don’t iron, steam or heat dry stained fabrics as heat will set the stain. Roll wet fabrics up into a dry towel and press to remove excess water, then hang to dry.
-Never use bleach or stain removers with bleach on our fabrics.
Our fabrics don’t wrinkle easily, but if they do, hanging it so that wrinkles fall out is often all that’s needed. A careful ironing or steaming with low heat can safely smooth out any persistent wrinkles.
-If the wrap still has wrinkles after several hours on a hanger, try hanging it in the bathroom during a hot shower for a gentle steaming. Make sure the fabric itself doesn’t get wet.
- More stubborn wrinkles can be removed with a warm iron. Avoid the hotter settings as they may damage the fibers.
-If using steam, use distilled water and clean any rust or particles from inside the steamer first.
Our items require both tailoring time/ processing time and shipping time, change based on fluctuations in seasonal demand. Each product page will display an estimated tailoring time/ processing time calculated based on these factors. To ensure you receive your order on time, please place your order as early as possible to avoid prolonged tailoring time during peak seasons.
We understand that our customers sometimes need the flexibility to cancel orders for a variety of reasons. The good news is that after placing your order, there is still time to change your mind. Please refer to our cancellation policy below for details.
For Customized Dance shoes, Made-To-Order Sashes, Made-To-Order Wraps, Personalized Ceremony Sand & Favors, Personalized Jewelry, Cheongsam, Uniforms, and any other Personalized items:
- Orders cancelled within 24 hours of payment confirmation* will be eligible for a full refund.
- Orders cancelled 24 to 72 hours after payment confirmation* will be eligible for a partial refund consisting of the full shipping cost and 50% of the product purchase price.
- Orders cancelled more than 72 hours after payment confirmation* will be eligible for a partial refund consisting of the full shipping cost.
- Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

-Items can be cancelled for a full refund up until shipment.

Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Upon the arrival of your package, we encourage you to check and make sure that the product has been made to your order specifications. Try on your dress, accessories, shoes or clothing as soon as possible without removing the tags, altering, or washing the products If you are returning or exchanging dresses, shoes, clothing, or accessories, please make sure they are in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, clean, free of lint and hair and with tags intact and attached.
Defective, Damaged or Mis-shipped Items
You are eligible for a refund of the full purchase price plus shipping costs for defective, damaged or mis-shipped items or you can choose to exchange your item. You just need to provide the proof of the problem to our Customer Service. If you believe your items were damaged during delivery, you must first obtain "Proof of Damage" documentation from your delivery carrier.
Sizing or Fitting Issues
Items that do not fit properly but fit the specifications you provided cannot be returned or exchanged. Generally, due to differences in measuring tools and methods, there will be 1-2 cm error existence .So you must refer to our measurement guide and size chart very carefully before you select the size.
Please note: if your order’s size differs too greatly from our size chart, and you are confident that you have received the item in the wrong size, please contact Customer Service to see if a return or refund is possible.
The settings of your computer screen may alter the color of the pictures shown on LightInTheBox.com.
Slight color mismatches between the color of your item and the color shown on screen may not mean that the item is defective or mis-shipped.
However, if you are confident that you have received the item in a wrong color, please contact Customer Service to see if a return or refund is possible.
*Things To Know About Our Coats & Jackets：
1) All of our furs are natural animal furs, each one is unique and may differ slightly from the picture.
2) Fur Loss: Natural animal furs may suffer from a tiny bit of hair loss. When you receive your fur, you should shake and tap it to help refresh the furs. There may be some fur loss in the first few days.
3) Sewing: Our furs don’t come from a single animal and instead are sewn together. In some cases, there may be obvious stitching in small spots.
4) Odor: In some cases, our leather products may have a minor odor when you first receive them. This is natural. We recommend that once you receive a leather product, you keep it in a well-ventilated room at first, until the smell has cleared.
Items that cannot be returned or exchanged:
1. Personalized items and swatches.
2. Perishables, earrings (including jewelry sets containing earrings), and personal care items (including lingerie)
If an item cannot be shipped by the time originally stated, Customer Service will offer you the option of keeping or canceling your order. Customers whose item(s) are overdue by no more than 10 days can choose to cancel the item(s) and get a full refund, or keep the item(s) and get a 30% reimbursement upon delivery. Customers whose item(s) are overdue by more than 10 days have the option of canceling for a full refund, or keeping the item(s) at no cost except shipping fees.
1) Contact Customer Service within 7 days (30 days for defective or incorrect items) of receiving your order. Include an explanation and photographs documenting the reason for the return. Returns will not be accepted without prior approval from Customer Service.
2) Once Customer Service has approved your request, please send the item within 5 days and the completed Product Return Form back to us as soon as possible.
3) Once received at our facility, your return will be processed in 5 to 7 business days. Once your return is confirmed and inspected, please allow up to two billing cycles for it to be credited to your account. Items returned in unacceptable condition will not be processed as refunds and cannot be shipped back to you.

|A: Please allow 9-16 Business Days for your Made-To-Order wrap to arrive. Each wrap must be tailored before it can be shipped to you, so delivery times are slightly longer for these special items. For full details, see our shipping information|
|Q: Can I return or cancel the wrap if I change my mind?||^Top|
|A: Once your order is confirmed, our tailors begin selecting materials in the color your ordered and cutting fabric based on your size. Once tailoring has begun, these materials cannot be reused, so a special cancellation and return policy applies to these items. There is still flexibility to return or cancel in certain situations, but it's important to order carefully. For full details, see our Return and Cancelation Policy|

|A: Each wrap is carefully tailored to match exactly what you see in the photos, and unfortunately we are unable to modify the style, length or material in any way. We hope our wide variety of styles, fabrics and color choices will enable you to find exactly what you're looking for with no modifications needed.|
|Q: Do you have photos of other customers wearing the wrap?||^Top|
|A: We only have the photos of our models that appear on the product page, but sometimes customers post their own photos in the reviews section. You can also post a request for photos on the page, in case others who have bought the dress want to reply with pictures.|
|Q: Can you customize the size of my wrap?||^Top|
|A: Many of our wraps come in one size only, but jackets are all cut according to our standard sizes. We are unable to take customer measurements for these items, but our wraps are designed so that most customers find one size or standard size items fit them perfectly. |A: Yes, we typically leave about an inch in the seams of tailored garments so that alterations can easily be made by a local tailor.|

|A: There might be a slight difference between the actual dress’s color and what you see in the photos on our site depending on your computer monitor’s display settings.|

|Checking our Color & Fabric Charts and the product page photos should give you a very accurate idea, but you can also order fabric swatches from our site if you like. Just keep in mind the extra cost and time needed to receive the swatches when planning your order.|
