To figure out your shoe size, you have to know how to measure your foot length and ball girth. All you need is a ruler, a household measuring tape, a pencil, and a piece of paper.
Place the paper on a flat surface. Place your bare foot on the paper and stand on it. Use a pencil to trace an outline around your foot. Keep the pencil as straight as possible against your foot.
Measure the distance between the tip of the longest toe and the back of the heel with the ruler. Subtract 0.2 Inches (5mm/0.5cm) to compensate for the thickness of the pencil.
Measure the circumference of the widest part of your foot with a household measuring tape. This is the part of your foot between the pinky toe and the joint of the big toe.
Repeat steps 1-3 for the other foot.
Take the longest and biggest measurements of your two feet to find your correct shoe size. Review the sizing charts for the style of shoe you intend to purchase, and select your size.

*Things To Know About Our Coats & Jackets:
1) All of our furs are natural animal furs, each one is unique and may differ slightly from the picture.
2) Fur Loss: Natural animal furs may suffer from a tiny bit of hair loss. When you receive your fur, you should shake and tap it to help refresh the furs. There may be some fur loss in the first few days.
3) Sewing: Our furs don’t come from a single animal and instead are sewn together. In some cases, there may be obvious stitching in small spots.
4) Odor: In some cases, our leather products may have a minor odor when you first receive them. This is natural. We recommend that once you receive a leather product, you keep it in a well-ventilated room at first, until the smell has cleared.
Items that cannot be returned or exchanged:
1. Personalized items and swatches.
2. Perishables, earrings (including jewelry sets containing earrings), and personal care items (including lingerie)

Buying shoes online means I can’t try them on first. What's the best way to ensure I’ll get the right size?
We carry a wide selection of brands and styles, some of which vary slightly in their sizing. If we know a shoe tends to run large or small, we'll add that information to the product description. We also rely on our customers to share their own experiences, by rating the shoe’s fit. Look for customer ratings on all product detail pages below the description. |
2. How do I know if my shoes are the right size? | ^Top |
---|---|
A good fit is when there's no gap between your foot and the sides of the shoe, the arch of the shoe cradles the arch of your foot, your toes have just enough wiggle room, and your heel should fit comfortably without slipping when you walk. . |
3. How do I know if my sandals or mules are the right size? | ^Top |
---|---|
Your foot should completely cover the shoe lining, without your toe or heel overlapping either end of the shoe. |
4.I think I have the right boot size, but my heel is slipping. What's wrong? | ^Top |
---|---|
Most boots are constructed with a softer heel counter (the reinforced material around your heel). This makes them easier to slide your foot into, but it may cause your heel to slip a bit the first few times you wear them. Not to worry, this is normal. After wearing them several times, your boots should mold to your feet and stop slipping. |
5. My feet seem larger in the afternoon. Is this possible? | ^Top |
---|---|
Most people's feet swell slightly as the day progresses due to body temperature and regular activity. To get the best fit, try your new shoes on in the afternoon and after a bit of walking or exercise. . |
6. How do you measure the heel heights I see on your product detail pages? | ^Top |
---|---|
To provide consistent information, we measure all heel heights from a sample shoe size. The actual heel measurement will be proportionate to your shoe size and may vary slightly for larger or smaller sizes. We measure from the center of the heel to where it meets the sole. If the shoe is a platform, that measurement will be noted separately. Measurements are rounded off in quarter-inch increments. |
7. Help! My new shoes stained my feet. What's wrong? |
^Top |
---|---|
The dye on new shoes will sometimes rub off on your feet the first few times you wear them. This is normal for natural materials such as leather and fabric. It’s not harmful and will come off with soap and water. |
They say it's the shoes that make the outfit, a statement that's certainly not lost on our professional craftspeople. They're working hard to bring you the latest in fashionable footwear. Take a behind-the-scenes look at our footwear production line. Here's where our shoemakers give your next pair of high-quality shoes a personal touch. From the first cut to the final packaging, your shoes are handled with care, ensuring long lasting comfort, luxury and style.
The first step is the cut. This takes a steady hand and keen eye for detail; skills that come with years of hands-on experience and craftsmanship. The shoemaker carefully traces molds of various shoe parts over their respective materials. The cut must be very accurate, especially for the upper, in order for the shoe to have that perfect fit.
The first step of construction means taking the materials and combining them with high-quality adhesives and careful sewing. By bending and manipulating the pieces by hand, the shoe's shape is formed, priming it for the next stage of assembly.
Once the cut has been fit into place we proceed with the shoe's assembly. This is where the upper is primed for attachment to the sole of the shoe using seeds (nails), which are tapped in by hand. Once these nails are in place and the upper is ready to go, we’re ready for the next step.
The next step is preparing the sole of the shoe and attaching it to the upper. First stickers, decals or other branding is adhered to the bottom of the sole, depending on the shoe's design. Once this is completed, the sole is set in a press, glued and nailed to the upper. This stage, handled by only the most experienced craftsmen, is critical to ensure the shoe’s longevity and resistance to the elements.
Once the upper and sole are joined, here is where the heel is glued to the sole should the shoe's design require it. High-quality adhesive cement is used here to ensure a strong long lasting bind between sole and heel is made.
Once the heel is glued and set to the sole, additional nails and screws are used to keep the heel snug and secure.
Last but not least we reach packaging. This is where the craftsman takes one last look at their work, inspecting it for any possible flaws and comparing it to the shoe's master template. If the shoe passes inspection it will then be carefully packaged and ready for your feet. Enjoy!
