I got my dress today, and I was so excited but also abit nervous, I'm very curvy... I got a big chest, with a small waist and slightly wider hips.. and im short (163cm). But it fit like a glove. And I love it!! ..and it turn out to be even more beautiful then I imagine! Stunning. Im going to wear it at an up coming wedding in July. Definitely worth the money.

It was exactly as pictured and I'm in love. I was a little nervous buying a dress online, but this one came really FAST (they attached FedEx tracking number which was super helpful) and the quality was AMAZING. I bought the standard size and it was very true to the measurements. The color (burgundy) was just like the one pictured and was exactly to my liking. The train is perfectly long and elegant, the slit is at a sexy but classy height, and the beading on the capped shoulders are very elegant and not at all tacky or cheesy. All together, this dress is perfect and I will definitely shop at Light In The Box again because you honestly won't get a dress this beautiful and reasonably priced anywhere else!

I ordered this dress in Grape (which is a beautiful, almost black, purple colour). I ordered it to be custom made, because according to the size charts (which were very helpful) i didn't fit into any measurements. It took exactly 31 days to arrive in Gold Coast, Australia.

The fabric is of perfect quality and the way in which it is made is outstanding. It fits perfectly according to my body size and the split is at a reasonable height. The crystals on the shoulders look tasteful and not at all tacky. The velvet is very hot for Australian climate, so it would be recommended to be worn in Winter.

The train of the dress is quite long, therefore there is enough length to wear high heels.

Would definitely recommend this website and dress for everyone, unless you're going to my Formal of course.

WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WEBSITE AND DEFINITELY THIS DRESS - agreeing with most other reviews, the dress arrived SO much quicker than expected, extremely pleased with the overall quality/feel of the item. Ordered in a size 8 and was worried whether i should have used the 'custom measurements' option, but it fits perfect (size chart was a big help!!!) and looks perfect, really comfy and flattering of the figure, and looks exactly like the photo shows.
10/10 for price, time taken to arrive and of course how stunning it is!

I purchased this dress to attend a Cotillion (my childhood friend's daughter was a debutante) and I couldn't be more pleased! It was PERFECT!

Ordering Process- 5/5. I decided to get the dress in Grape Velvet (a pretty deep purple), but there wasn't any picture of it in the "Fabric Swatch" section. So, I decided to chat with a consultant and see if they could assist and they were very helpful - they sent me a link to another dress that came in Grape velvet. I ordered the dress on January 16, 2013 and received it January 27, 2013. (I paid for expedited shipping and I found a coupon code that gave me a little off the price.)

Dress Quality & Fit- 5/5. This dress is GORGEOUS! I stood out in a sea of black and muted chiffon dresses. The velvet is of good mid-grade quality, the rhinestones were secure,well-spaced, and good quality, and the dress was well-made (loved the light boning in the waist!). I ordered the 20W (I'm between and 18 & 20 right now in most clothes, wore a long-line strapless bra (I've got a bit of a belly), and ROCKED it! The split is VERY accurate to the picture and quite high. I'm 5'5", wore 4 inch heels, and it hit me pretty much where it hits the model. (When I sat, I just used the extra fabric to cover my leg.)


You MUST sashay in this dress- it makes you feel confident, sexy, and stunning. I got TONS of compliments from men and women (mean stares and whispers of "Who is that?" COUNT as compliments). I will upload a couple pics in the next week or so.

Only problem I had was the high neck, so I deciced to tuck it under. Looks much better when tucked cause it gives the illusion of a longer back.

This dress is simply amazing!! It is far better than the picture, got it tailor-made and it fits just perfect. The dress is of very good quality and the price is very cheap even if you get it tailor-made.

So impressed and excited to wear this dress! AMAZING! I got the customised fitting option and it is perfect, fits like a glove. I am so happy, will be buying from Light in the Box again.
