util e prático, pena apenas o facto de a tomada ser diferente das usadas em Portugal! mas nada que não se resolva com um adaptador!!

I bought this and thought will be a usb warmer, but it was a ac warmer as it had been mentioned in the title!
I plugged in the gadget and turned it on, then put my hot cup of tea there, but nothing happened and the tea got cold and the warmer gadget was not helpful at all, I tried it several times and nothing happened.
the warmer doesn't warm anything and there is no heat at all! I have to traash it :( not really satisfied with the purchase and the item!

This is a great gadget. If you drink tea or coffee a lot, your life isn't perfect without this coffee warmer.
I was sceptical at first - can this little device really keep my coffee warm? So I allowed it stay on for 5-7 minutes, and touched the plate... DAMN it was HOT! Yes, the plate actually gets so hot you can't keep your fingers on it (you can't make scrambled eggs though..). However, the problem with these gadgets is: You have to - no, you NEED - a cup that either fits the round plate 100%, OR a cup with a completely flat surface - and it's best if it's made out of steel - for the cup to be kept warm. The things about ordinary tea and coffe-cups are that they're slighly bend in the buttom, because you don't want the heat to travel down into the table. So it's a good thing that only a small surface touches the table, because no heat can then travel from the cup to the table... But this works the other way around too - no heat can travel from the table, in this case the coffee-warmer, to the cup.
But as soon as you have a cup that matches the size of the plate, or with a flat buttom, it actually works! It can't keep your coffee warm at 90 degrees celcius (190 Fahrenheit), but around 70-50 degrees it can do when there is maximum heat-travelling.

I've used different types of containers and have found that
if you use a metal-type cup or thin porcelain mug, you will get better results overall.
The surface gets hot enough, so don't put your fingers on it.
