These are really a suede Birkenstock-style clog. They are a lovely wide cut, and surprisingly light. If you have particularly narrow feet, these are so not the shoes for you, and there are no returns! There is reasonably good arch support inside, but also hold orthotics in place fairly well. They are stylish and comfortable. They are quite warm in the summer, but are really more of a fall/spring sort of shoe. They are actually a little deeper true red then the picture shows. The web photo makes them look a little more orangey-red.

I had thought my feet would be horribly stained by the red dye which is inside and out on this shoe, and despite wearing them in very hot weather, they really didn't run much. There was a little transfer, but it just washed off, with no staining of the feet or toenails. They were a bit chemically smelling straight out of the box, so you are going to want to let them air for a few days before wearing them out.

Ordering shoes on the internet is always a gamble, but this one paid off!
