Commande correspondant exactement à l'attente à l'attente. Qualité très bonne.
I would not have any hesitation recommending this dress maker with the caveat that
- the quality of the satin is indeed polyester
- you do allow for local tailor adjustments
- you ask all questions up front especially delivery times or quality questions, as it is difficult once ordered to get information on the status of the dress as the online chat is generally pre order not post order.
I purchased this dress for my daughter's ring dance at her university. We asked for custom measurements since the dress would have been too long otherwise and she is extremely slim on top. The dress arrived very quickly. The length of the dress was perfect however, it did not fit perfectly on the top. The dress includes a separate bra which was a bit too large even on the last set of hooks. When the bra was fastened, there was a large gap between the bra and the back of the dress. We took the dress to a local seamstress, had it refitted on the top and got it back today. The dress itself is lovely although my daughter wishes it wasn't quite so full on the bottom.
I would really like to commend lightinthebox for their customer service. I had to leave an email message about the fit issue along with 2 photos showing the problem. Instructions were included in the box with the dress. I really didn't expect much. What I received was absolutely superb customer service. They weren't the fastest at responding but they offered extremely appropriate compensation for the fit issue which allowed us to get the dress altered at no cost to us. The credit has already been applied to our account.
All in all I would definitely be willing to buy from light in the box again. The dress was lovely and the service was great.
I purchased this dress for my daughter for her confirmation ceremony. Order placed on 22July. Packaged shipped to Miami and then to Trinidad in the West Indies. I recieved the dress yesterday 11 August 2011.
Firstly I was amazed that it got to us so quickly since I didn't order a "rack size' but had it made for her measurements.
We are ecstatic, the dress fits PERFECTLY!!! the workmanship is great. it is a simple, elegant beautiful dress which suits our purpose perfectly.

The package shipped yet reached wrong address / receiver. It's signed by someone named Jenny who might be at our neighborhood that time. Yet I impress with the customer service courtesy to act ASAP and ask reshipment / refund. We chose refunds as no free shipping promotion.
I highly recommend this website as they're reliable and trustworthy. Also don't forget to tick insurance in case your product is missing / defective as in our case; it's not LIght In The Box mistake, it's UPS mistake (the courier). They shouldn't hand over the product to our neighbor as in Australia, sometimes we don't even know our neighbor name. We knocked 5-6 houses, no one has name Jenny.
