Believe all of the good reviews for this device. It runs fast, sets up easily, and the screen has a comfortable touch to it. Downloading books from local library was a cinch, installing the keyboard was a simple matter of plugging it in. The paper instructions are sketchy as one reviewer wrote, but there is on screen aides when you need them. If that's not enough, then contact customer service. They are extremely helpful.
Also purchased was the recommended keyboard for this device. it all fit well and works just fine. It's like carrying a good book around.
I thought the Meiying was a good tablet, but the DesireTab is so much better.

I've been using this tablet for emailing, downloading and reading books from the library. Took it on cruise with me. After all that, I still say it's the best unit out there.

I got the tablet on Jan 24, 2012 and it worked right out of the box. connected seamlessly with my wifi, and google account... physical appearance is great, screen is fairly responsive. Tablet is sturdy and lightweight a very interesting combination. It was well packaged and shipping was timely. I was able to track my tablet from China to Hongkong then Cincinnati and finally New York. No custom fees here in NY.

The tablet is great, and runs most google apps. Works well with the keyboard case I bought with it. The tablet is not comparable to an Ipad, but it as good as any high-end android tablet for a fraction of the price.

Battery life is amazing! Its keeps charge for up to two-and a half to three days in stand by mode and up to 8 hours with wifi and constant use.

It handles high graphic games with ease, I was able to play NFS speed, NFS Most Wanted, without any problems. PES 2012 and 2013 played on it but not as smooth as it should be a problem which I attribute to the screen resolution. Runs google chrome fairly well, and it is sometimes faster than stock browser!

Speaker volume is good, but not the best. Camera is great for skype. Inbuilt mic is also very sensitive. The only downside to this tablet is the lack of bluetooth support which I was able to bypass using ftp file sharing.

I would recommend this tablet to anyone looking to buy an android 4.0 tablet. I would buy this tablet over and over again.

The manual is a waste of time, too small to read and written in Chinese English.

Purchased this on the evening of April 8th. It shipped from China and was on the local delivery truck to my house April 12th. I was amazed at the speed and appreciated being able to track it the whole way. However, the local contract carrier screwed it up so I didn't have it in my hands until Monday the 15th! =(

That aside - this is a great tablet. I purchased it for my developmentally disabled son in hopes of using it as a communication device, however he is loving it for so much more! The sound and screen are great. Screen is very responsive. I have loaded the Kindle App and some games for him. Still haven't done the communication app, but have tried out a couple and just have to nail down THE one.

I also purchased a case with keyboard thinking the built-in keyboard would be cumbersome for him and the case would give the tablet some protection. The case is just great and keyboard works well. I would do that again, although the built-in keyboard is just fine.

Very happy with this tablet and Light in the Box. Would definitely purchase this product and would do business with them again.

I purchased this tablet on 27 Feb. Unfortunately I have been unable to use it because they sent me the wrong adapter even though they took 10 days to process my order (and check that everything was in working order). Having paid for expedited delivery, they have now posted the missing adapter which I wont get for a month despite I asking them to send to me urgently but they offered me a refund on the expedited delivery costs. Hope none of you are in a hurry for this tablet because you will be waiting a long time.

Still have not received the missing parts on 15th April (having ordered and paid on 27th Feb for UPS delivery).

Just to add, I finally got the correct adapter on 22 April by UPS. Thank you. The posted one has not arrived yet. Its great to finally get to use it - seems to be excellent.

A few days ago I've received the items I'e bought, and after a 3 days later must admit that I'm very pleased with this Tab. And quite franckly, it impress me including the delivery service of the items I've bought, recieved them very quick, in a very few day times, all the way from China. This Desire Tab is qute easy to operate, as it is too top quality in any meaning, even better when seeing the law price it cost. The price and quality of the Desire 9.7 inch tablet is a fantastic surprise and in my view it has satisfied all my expectations. This Tab is impressive, and also more loveable by me for each new day I learn to know it better and better. It works very fine, like a clock, and I use it just as I'm used to on my home computer. Soon will use it to programming of music and other arts.
