LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. :) I have been looking for something different and pretty, for my wedding. I ordered this in ivory. I worried ordering my wedding dress online, but had no luck finding anything I liked in the bridal shops, and for the price, I thought, order it!
I ordered it and from the day I ordered it, until the day it arrived, it was 16 days. It was even shipped a week earlier than I was quoted on the site.
When it arrived it was sooo pretty, I had ordered it a size larger than I usually wear. The bridal shops had told me that you order wedding attire usually a size larger than my usual size to allow for alterations, and the dress fit perfect when it arrived.
I also bought my daughters maid of honor dress from this site, and it was beautiful as well.Her dress was shipped 2 days after the estimated quote from the site. We are very pleased with this site and recommend it to our friends.

I recently ordered and received my wedding dress. I was very impressed with the quality and in particular the stitching on the dress. The dress arrived within the time scale stated and it was packaged well , great care was taken to ensure the dress arrived safely. I will be recommending light in a box to family and friends .

This dress was made to order. I commend the light in the box staff for clarifying my measurements since I did make an error. This delayed my shipment but it was worth it because the dress fits perfectly. If they had not pursued me by phone and just went ahead I would have been a dissatisfied customer. They did not let that happen. It is definitely a dress that will help me to feel like a princess on my wedding day. Totally worth the reasonable price.

Very happy with the dress, which is beautiful and very flattering and much nicer than the photos show. I ordered a US6 (UK10) which fitted me perfectly. I would highly recommend this dress.

Das Kleid entsprach leider nicht meinen Vorstellungen. Ich bin von der Qualität des Kleides enttäuscht. Noch dazu kommt das nach einem halben Jahr vom Zoll eine Aufforderung kam einen Betrag in Höhe von 33,18 Euro zu zahlen.
Fazit: Ich würde jedem davon abraten ein Kleid bei Light in the Box zu kaufen.

Let me start off by saying that this is an amazing dress. It's expertly made, high quality materials and for the price it cannot be beat. It was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a vintage, 50's inspired dress for my casual wedding.

I was disappointed in the measurements. I ordered this dress custom made with my measurements, for the added charge. The measurements were way off. I was frustrated and had less than a week to have it altered. Luckily, I was able to find a professional who was able to do it in the amount of time left. She even said the measurements weren't right - I even showed her how I measured myself and she said I measured myself correctly, so I know it was not my fault. She said the dress could have easily been 3 sizes larger than I actually am. Adding the additional cost of $67.00 for her alterations put the cost of the dress out of my budget. However I had no choice since I certainly couldn't send it back, nor did I have time to find another dress.

The dress itself came with a weird netting-type material that was under the dress skirt and hung about 2 inches from the rest of the dress. This is not showing in the picture, and I did not see it in anybody else's uploaded pictures either. I have no idea what it was for (and neither did the lady who did the alterations, but she ended up just cutting it off). The dress did not come with a flower (as pictured) but with a silk-like sash that I didn't use. I ended up putting a red flower in my hair and wearing red heels to complete the look I wanted.

I am a size 14 and as another reviewer pointed out, the dress is not flattering in certain circumstances and made me look bigger than I actually am at times. I am by no means trying to sway anyone from purchasing this dress, it really is stunning and it photographed beautifully (I really can't stress that enough, it really did photograph very beautifully and even made my retro pics look even better). I also think it has alot to do with body shape.

All this being said, I still believe I made the best choice. I don't think anyone who buys this dress will be disappointed. Wearing this dress I felt like a princess for the first time in a long time. It is an amazing dress at an incredible price. I hope the pictures do it justice!
