Ik heb dit jurkje besteld met een standaard maat. Mijn maten komen namelijk bijna exact overeen met de maten die bij size 12 vermeld staan. Mijn maten zijn namelijk exact hetzelfde in de taille en borst, alleen zijn mijn heupen 4cm breder. De rok leek me daar wijd genoeg voor.

Ik ontving het jurkje netjes, goede kwaliteit. Op de foto zie je het niet, maar het is een ballonrok.
Helaas was het jurkje VEEL te groot. De maten kwamen helemaal niet overeen met die van size 12, terwijl het wel een size 12 was. Het is zelfs zo groot, dat ik het niet in kan laten maken. Dat zou namelijk het hele model vervormen.

Als de maat afwijkt (meer dan 2cm) van de aangegeven maat, val je binnen het retourbeleid. Ik kreeg echter een mail dat het heel moeilijk was voor me om de jurk terug te sturen dus of ik een bedrag terug wilde. Ik krijg 30 euro terug. Ik ben hier al heel lang over aan het mailen want ik krijg het alsmaar niet. Het heeft heel veel moeite en gezeur gekost en ik heb het nog steeds niet. Ik ben nu ruim een maand bezig.

Verder kwamen er ineens douanekosten bij. Ik was dus in totaal bijna 90 euro voor het jurkje kwijt en krijg er nu 30 voor terug. Ik kan het opsturen en het aankoopbedrag terugkrijgen, maar dan ben ik extra terugzendkosten kwijt, het duurt heel lang voor het aankomt volgens het bedrijf en het is dan een heel moeizaam proces. Dat doe ik dus maar niet, zeker nu ik zie hoe moeilijk de klantenservice doet. Ik zou niet aanraden om hier iets te kopen. Op de foto heb ik mijn hand voor mijn borsten omdat de foto anders niet netjes is. Daardoor kun je ook goed zien hoe wijd de bovenkant is. Hier heb ik nog een voorgevormde bh onder aan om te zien of ik het een beetje op kon vullen, terwijl er eigenlijk een ingebouwde bh in zit en het volgens de maattabel prima moet passen.

Good quality. Mind you, it's a balloonskirt, which doesn't show in the pictures. I ordered a size 12 because my measures were almost exactly the same as mentioned in the sizechart above. My hips are a bit bigger, but perfect match in waist and breast area. But... the dress was way too big. I measured it and it was way bigger than the chart says. When they made the size incorrect, you can get a refund. I emailed and was told it's a great hassle to send it back, so I could get a small refund. After a lot of emailing I could get a 30 euro refund. The dress including shipping (which i didn't count on) costed me about 90 euros. I decided to agree. I was told I'd get the money soon, but I still haven't recieved it. I am not happy with the service of light in the box and would not recommend buying here. In the photo I have to cover my breasts with my hand, otherwise it'd show. This shows how big it is. I'm wearing an extra padded bra, even though the dress has a sewn in bra in it. I tried to fill it up this way, but it was still too big.

i received the dress in more than enough time before needed. i love the color the design and the fit of the dress. it actually exceeded my expectations. i have recommended this site to many others and plan on buying other things and the same dress in a different color. the color was dead on the colors of the wedding.

It's hard for me to review this dress fairly. I ordered it made-to-measure in ink blue. The colour was lovely, though a bit lighter than it appears from the site. The size was spot on and the dress arrived very promptly (even though it was made to measure, I still received it within 14 days.) The quality was very good and fit was perfect.

Unfortunately the dress just look terrible on me - it puffs out a lot more than it would seem in the picture, and while I'm a UK size 12 (so not exactly obese) and 5.7" it made me look really dumpy. I think the "bubbly" skirt is not the most flattering. Unfortantely, I cannot get any money back even though I will never wear it, which is a real shame.

Lovely dress, great price! I took my measurements and order the 12. Fits nicely, though a wee little tight in the chest (I'm busty) but I knew that when I ordered. Other than that fits great!! Very forgiving in the tummy area. The taffeta is a deep navy blue, just as expected. The material is lovely and rich. The dress has nice boning in the bodice area and is fully lined...I just can't get over how nice this dress is! I don't love posting pictures of my messy house, but I know how helpful they can be. I'm a solid size 12.

Ordering was easy and the dress arrived nicely packaged in 10 days. I will definitely consider Light in the Box in the future for formal dresses.

Got stung with customs and probably need to folk out more money to have hips taken in... bumba.. Overall gret dress I would use this site again, maybe but wil be more selective thanks guys

Had hem op maat laten maken, maar zat niet overal even goed. Dan maar laten bijwerken door een naaister en nu is alles oké.
