My comb arrived today, and while it is very beautiful and will NOW look beautiful in my hair on my wedding day, when I opened up the bag one of the rhinestones had fallen out of the piece. With my trusty tweezers and a needle, I managed to get it back in, but on closer inspection, several of the other claws holding other rhinestones were bent up and so I bent them down over the stones so I would not lose any more.
Also, as many other reviewers mentioned, the piece is very fragile, and instead of using good quality wire, the manufacturer has used copper and painted with silver over it. How do I know, you may ask? Because I also noticed that one of the wires had a chip of paint flaking off, showing copper wire underneath. I will try fixing that later, because I am NOT paying border taxes and duties to have another one shipped to me in Canada.
In all, I like the piece, but I am disappointed with the quality. The only reason I gave it three stars instead of two was the price. If I would have had to pay the full price instead of the price at LITB, I would have returned it. As it is, you get what you pay for, and if I could find this design (which I LOVE - it IS very pretty!) in a piece with better quality I would probably spend the extra money to upgrade.
