I wore this dress for a 1920's Hollywood Glamour party. It was fabulous, fit great, and was perfect for the occasion! It's beautiful in 'ruby' and has hints of gold. Definitely felt glamorous in this gown.

This is one stunningly beautiful dress - more elegant than the picture shows and very twinkly! If you love standing out in a room full of people - this is your dress! You will be noticed and admired for sure.
I have other sequin dresses but this material is very very expensive and the sequins are very close together, dont catch on each other or break when you sit down etc.
I bought the royal blue and it is a true royal blue (I think I read somewhere the closest colour to the picture that looks black/grey is this royal blue - but it definitely isnt. It is royal blue) The sequins make the colour so whatever colour you pick the sequins and dress will be that colour. Hope that helps you decide.
This is the second evening dress I have bought from Light in the box and both have been perfect size, absolutely beautifully made and always prettier than the photos. Just be very honest with your measurements.
This dress has a drape across the tummy which flatters and is good if you are eating dinner at the event lol. I am 5ft 10 with shoes and an English size 8 but it would suit most sizes and hide many sins and look fabulous!

I purchased this dress in the silver it's a little lighter than the pictures show, but still beautiful. It took about the 3 weeks that others have said. I had the dress tailored for my measurements and the dress fits great. I bought it to wear to a Military Ball. I can't wait to go and wear my beautiful dress. I love it!!
NOTE: watch the video on how to measure so you get your measurement right. I was confused on the hollow measurement but the video explained perfectly.

The dress was delivered in about three weeks. It is beautifully constructed of high quality fabrics and its fully lined. In reference to the other review, I wouldn't call it a "pucker" on the hips, instead, there is a draping of the fabric as is shown on the photo. It actually is pretty flattering to the tummy area. The neckline isn't as deep as pictured and if you are concerned, could probably be made even less revealing by adding a couple of extra hooks/eyes on the ends of the halter. Wearing a bra is not necessary. I am a very curvy size 16 and the fit was good with only minimal alterations needed.
My ONLY concern is that I ordered this dress in Grape, hoping for a deep purple, on the advice of the on-line help person. The dress is beautiful, but the color is more of a pink/purple and more pastel than I was hoping for. The sequins are two colors, a mostly the pink/purple color and some a deep navy/purple color. The sequins are also very tiny (but still have a lot of sparkle). PLEASE, add a color chart for sequins to your color chart page. Your online chat people try to be helpful, but don't seem to understand the difference in colors between fabric choices.
This is my second purchase of formal wear from LITB and would recommend them to anyone!

Q: Is this dress available in ruby? When I previously looked at this dress, it had many other color options, my favorite being ruby. Ruby is no longer listed among the colors this dress is available in. There is also a picture of someone who ordered this dress in ruby, so I'm certain it used to be available. Q: WAITING ORDER FOREVER... I was told that my order would take 14 days to be made, I purchase on the 18th of January , and it was shipped on the 21st of January! I asked if I should sent it to Brasil or Australia, because I have an event there on the 3rd of March, the staff advised me to send it to Brasil. NOW, the dress is in the customs in Brasil - Sao Paulo - since the 27th of JANUARY, today it's the 16th of FEBRUARY, AND I have NO idea how I get my dress!!!
