For my cousin's wedding the dress code was pretty formal and they wanted everyone to look "stunning". I went to some stores but not many places sell formal dresses in the area so I turned to online shopping. I looked into some stores I trusted but still nothing. Then I found this site and was a bit skeptical since it would take a while to make it and you don't really know what you're going to get. I saw this dress and really loved it, I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend this much money but when I asked my friends they unanimously liked this dress over any other dresses I had looked at. My boyfriend also loved it so with plenty of time before the wedding I bought it. Their shipping estimate was pretty correct, I got it maybe a day or two early. I live in the US and did not have to pay any extra customs fees. I really like the dress, the color is absolutely beautiful, when I bought it the color name was something different than they have on their selection now but I think it's most close to the "pool" color. The sash is also the same color. Everything was made of a high quality material and the rhinestones are sewed on and not glued on so they stay on. I bought a size 4, which is what it recommended when I took measurements and it fit really nicely. As most people said, the halter strap was too long so I put some hooks on it further up so it fit better, also I had the center part sewed where the right satin bust section crosses over the left. I am pretty small busted so it didn't quite fit that well in that section but with a padded bra and a bit of double sided tape it worked fine. I was able to find a matching tie for my boyfriend and everyone complimented us on how great we looked together. The whole day I enjoyed wearing the dress, it was really comfortable and I felt like I had the prettiest dress in the room (except for maybe the bride!) I definitely would recommend buying on this site, I would again. Thanks Light in the Box!

Good quality! Order was shipped on time as promised! I was very impressed by the quality of the gown. I Look forward to wearing the dress to my sister wedding in September. The only thing is that I had to pay an unexpected charge of £15.00 vat to CUSTOMS. The only thing I would encourage is to get the dress measured. As I now have to have it altered. But apart from that I am very pleased with the dress. I purchased the Ruby it look's beautiful...try and posted a picture after wedding !!!

This dress was absolutely stunning! It's going to be beautiful for my best friends wedding! Was having a hard time finding a dress to fit her exact colour! Shipping was extremely fast! The only thing I had wrong with the dress was the halter part did not do up, so I had to have alterations done to make it closed up. It would have been nice to have been told upon purchase that I would have to pay duty on the dress when it entered our country...which was another unexpected $40. Other then that I am very pleased with the company and my purchase and will continue to do business with light in the box.com!
