Quedé muy satisfacha con la compra, el vestido está hermoso, aunque el cinturón del que me llegó es un poquito más ancho, pero así también está bonito, la medida correcta y el vestido es el mismo. !!! estoy felíz con mi vestido !!!

Lo mejor de todo es que no tuve que pagar nada en aduanas como decían algunas,me llegó a casa y me entregaron el vestido y nada más. Así de fácil y rápido.

In planning for our wedding, my husband and I knew that we were going to elope, but I still wanted THE dress for our day. I looked all over and kept coming back to Lightinthebox, debating for a few weeks on whether ordering a dress online was a good idea or not, as I was nervous as to how the dress would turn out and if there would be any shipping problems. After reading a lot of positive reviews on LITB and finding the above dress, which I loved, I decided to take a chance and order the dress.

Best. Decision. Ever.

The dress was (IS!) gorgeous, affordable, and shipped well ahead of schedule. I went with the custom made (had my measurements taken before ordering) and it fit perfectly. I would absolutely buy from LITB again and have nothing but good things to say about the dress. I'm still in love with it.

Like many others, I was very skeptical about purchasing my wedding dress online. I went with my own measurements and the dress fits perfectly. The quality of the dress is really good and there are only a few adjustments I would make but include things like shortening the train, a couple of things that I was prepared for by going by the picture. The bow is really large for the dress, I think this could definitely be minimized. You can't really tell from the picture by there is more like 4 bows. There is at least 6 tails and 4 loops, so it is quite a lot for the dress. But apart from that, the dress is really well made, the boning in the bodice is really good and I am completely happy with my purchase. I've even recommend my sister who is getting married 6 months later to get her dress through light in the box.

This is a real review, I dont work for LITB or anything like that. My experience with buying this dress was just AMAZING, I was super hesitant about buying such an important thing through the internet but I fell in love with this dress so much that I couldn stop thinking about it every time I went to try on other dresses. The whole buying process went great, it shipped before they said it would and I got it here in Costa Rica in less than 1 month. The dress is beautiful, fully lined, amazing quality, elegant and flowy fabric, perfect rouching, I mean it, its perfect!! Its just like the dresses I tried on at the bridal boutiques. The sizes run a little big, I wish I had ordered it 1 size smaller, so Im going to get it fitted. Anyway, I really recomend this dress, it is just dreamy! I received this dress on time, as described by Lightinthebox. Due to regulations in the UK, I had to pay import taxes (which I was expecting), but it was substantial (£70).
This was packaged very well. I had the dress custom made, and the fit was absolutely perfect. The quality of the dress was excellent - very good value for money.
The ribbon tie on the front is however extremely heavy, and drags the dress down. It is so heavy, that the stitching which connects it to the waistband is stretching also. I think i will actually remove this bow.
Bear in mind also that the part where the dress flares out is quite exaggerated. I am a petite frame and feel that it flares out a little too much for me.

In any case - I am very happy with the quality of this dress and will certainly recommend getting a wedding dress from this company. Also, they threw in a free veil and protective bag!

a-line strapless court train TULLE/Netting wedding dress

This is a beautiful dress. Exactly like the picture. If you like how it looks in the picture, get it. The finish is good, at least at the same level as $500~1500 dresses in US bridal salons. I ordered a size 2 ivory, it runs true/slightly loose than the chart. If you prefer to wear tight dress like me, buy a size smaller. (I like strapless dress a bit tighter around bodice so I won't need to worry if it falls.)

In general this is a wonderful dress. However there are some problems with this dress. 1. The material is TULLE. The previous reviewer LauraS was true for what she said. There are 3 layers of TULLE and 1 layer of Satin lining. NO TULLE INSIDE TO SUPPORT. What Lisa@LightInTheBox (Oct 13, 2011) replyed Cythia (Jul 26, 2011) was NOT TRUE. Before I purchased the dress, I asked live Chat customer service and told the person my concern with the material. initially she (I think) told me to scroll down the page to see the material description. Then I told her I asked her because I saw the other reviewer said the material was three layers of tulle and one layer of satin. She replied it's free for people to write whatever they want to write, and I can have refund if the product doesn't match the description. So I ordered it. Now I doubt if the customer service ever tried to understand the situation before they answer. 2. There are some small black stuff on the dress. Initially I was afraid if they were bugs, but they are not. They are like small feather or fabric. I guess the seamstress had lots of different dresses to make at the same time. (Thank god I've seen other sad stories about buggy dresses bought from China and I was so scared if I was unlucky).

Besides these 2 problems, the dress itself is nice. I probably will try to contact the customer service again because personally I don't like tulle/netting for the top layer, though it is very soft. I am sharing two pictures here. One is me in the dress without a petticoat. The other one is to show the material.

I decide to put the rating at 2 stars just for the make of dress itself. I am feeling very disappointed with the reply from the customer service. Tulle is not like chiffon that has more "drop" feeling, also it feels different when you touch it. I replied to the customer service that there is no single layer made of chiffon, which is true. I'll update when I get the next reply.

== 2nd update ==
The customer service provides options of return/refund or coupon. As a result I will change the rating to 3 stars. I really hope them change the description to make it match the product.

I am uploading another picture that I am in the dress with a petticoat. I got the petticoat from light in the box as well. There is no boning in the petticoat so it's not really that full. But I hate hate hate hem hoop and I don't want a super puffy skirt, so I'm happy to have this petticoat going with this dress.

After trying the dress again, I noticed that some part of the inner lining along the left side of neckline would flip out. I figure out it is because the heavy weight of bow at the waist pulls down the outer layer of dress. The solution is to remove the bow, or make the neckline super super tight.

Regarding the "glow", I think the dress glow a bit if you are under a strong light source or directly under the light. There are another 3 layers of fabric on top of the satin, so it's not easy to see the glow from a distance.
