Okay I went ahead an ordered this dress, the length was perfect, the jacket was perfect, tho heavy with the liner in it, the chest area was wayyyyyyy to big, and the color was NOT RUBY color, it was more of a Christmas RED color, disappointed in the color for sure but I'll have to wear it anyway,,: Av justdew 01 / 09 / 2012

I liked the color of the dress it was pretty but it wasn't the color I was looking for. I was a little nervous when I was ordering it in a different color then what I saw. I took the risk. When the dress came in it was everything I hoped it was going to be and more it was Beautiful! Thanks Light in the Box!

Questo abito è incredibile! L'ho comprato per mia madre facendolo personalizzato per il matrimonio di mia sorella.E' bellissimo !!!! misure perfette. I dettaglii sono ottimi , i ricami favolosi, la giacca è foderata, ottima qualità per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato. Non mi aspettavo che fosse così bello. Abbiamo scelto il blu scuro ed è esattamente quello che ci aspettavamo.

First of all, I must say the custom size made gown is very well put together. The beading is very nicely done and the quality of the sewing excellent. The dress arrived relatively quickly (few weeks) from the time of ordering, so in terms of process no problems at all.

However, a big mistake with the colour chosen. Unfortunately Hunter Green SATIN and Hunter Green CHIFFON are significantly different colours. Had I realised this, I would have chosen a much darker colour (eg navy blue or chocolate). The lining inside the well made jacket is satin as is the 'cumberbund' waist of the gown. The entire dress (except for waist band) is chiffon.

Being a larger build person I had selected Hunter Green as a darker colour, however the chiffon is very light in colour (almost pastel) compared to the satin colour. I am most disappointed and may not wear the gown to my daughters deb ball as planned because I feel the colour is too light for a bigger person (at least that is how I feel).

I strongly recommend prospective buyers purchase fabric samples from Light In the Box first! Combined fabric gowns obviously will have a different look - the model shown on the website is well matched, but not all colours will match so well it seems. The model shows Grape colour and the satin and chiffon are almost identical, however Hunter Green is very different.

Well made dress, but the colours were very unexpected, which is a shame.
