Am Anfang war ich sehr zufrieden. Leider ist nach 15 Monaten die Ladebuchse Mini-Usb defekt und läßt sich auch nicht mehr reparieren. Damit ist das Handy für mich unbrauchbar. Schade.

Bon produit sauf que la batterie ne tient pas plus d'une journée;
J'attends que l'on me propose une batterie de rechange, qui ne soit pas coûteuse.
Un site chinois me propose une batterie à 35 € plus 10 € de frais d'envoi. Un peu cher !
d'autant s'il faut la remplacer souvent.

COMPATIBILITÉ DE LA CARTE SIM DE FREE AVEC mon smartphone

Reçu mon smartphone ouku ce jour.
Je rencontre un problème de compatibilité de ma carte SIM de FREE .

j'ai un message : "Le processus com.android.phone s'est interrompu de façon inopinée. Merci de réessayer"

Super bon produit, le - c'est que la batterie se décharge au bout d'une journée, j’espère que l'on va m'envoyer une autre batterie ( j'ai contacté le SAV parce que je n'ai eu qu'une batterie alors que le produit normalement en compte deux ), et le pour les taxes en France j'ai payé 28€ de douane 13€50 de charge additionnelle s/dédouanement et 2€65 pour UPS + le prix du tel 131€72, les frais d'envois transport 11€89, assurance 1€54 et un code promo de 10€07 en tout le téléphone m'a couté 179€23.

I bought my phone about 7 months ago in August 2011, and I am enjoying it. It may have a few glitches at first, but it gets better as you use it.
Here is a summary of my experience:

Pros

1. High quality masculine phone with a touchscreen made from durable material (and I mean I have dropped it on hard concrete several times! DON'T try it though, you may not be as lucky as I have been :) )

2. Processor speed is great (600MHz), and seamlessly runs most applications on the Android market.

3. The casing is made of high quality plastic material (as far as I am concerned), and wont break easily unless you deliberately want to break it.

4. Doesn't look cheap so don't worry about feeling inferior.

5. Dual camera capability is great, and the picture quality is good on both cameras in a well lit environment

6. Can be be used as a mobile wireless hotspot (a great idea if on unlimited data plan). Which is a cool thing for those who have to Ipads and tablets, or a USB modem for you laptop! It works great either way, and the data speed is decent too.

7. Data speed is 2G (EDGE), so son't expect lightning speed internet surfing, although 3G is supported, but not many service providers offer 3G as part of their bundle. I use T-Mobile, and I have my MTN (from Nigeria roaming) on it.

8. Dual sim capability gives you the option to combine networks on a single phone

9. The coating on the plastic case peels off (especially when the unit gets hot especially during charging)... Well this is actually a good thing, because the name OUKU peels off with it, and this prevents people from knowing what kind of phone you have.
Once the peeling process is complete, the phone is as good as new! The difference is not obvious! another good thing.

Cons

1. Sound quality is not great for a Chinese phone (usually Chinese phones are very loud).
2. Battery life is short! Make sure you order a spare battery (will cost you only $20:00 s/h included.)


Technical help:

For the constant freezing that will be experienced during the first few weeks of use, move installed applications to SD card. This will free up memory on the phone, and eliminate/reduce (the frequency of) the freezing

To preserve battery life, disable GPS system under "location and security" to reduce the load on the battery, and as much as possible when charging the battery, make sure it's in a well ventilated area... if the unit gets hot, the battery goes bad in months.

Hope this helps you to make up your mind on this really great phone.


Recommendation/Question for light in the box:

1.Why does this phone (600MHz) cost more than it's 800Mhz counterpart?

2. It will be a really good idea to work with the manufacturer to ship the phone complete with two batteries... this will save buyers the hassle of having to buy replacement batteries after.

telefono spedito velocemente tutto bene a parte l'iva doganaledi 42€ dopo 15 giorni però non funzionava bene ho contattato l'assistenza molto gentili e disponibili ho ottenuto la sostituzione ma ho pagato di nuovo l'iva doganale di ben 55€ piu 14,50€ di diritti ups. In conclusione il telefono ora va molto bene ma è risultato decisamente caro!

Yo he comprado este movil en julio y en septiembre se me estropeó, se lo mandé para reparar y me mandaron el modelo nuevo con 800mhz

el dia 22/08/11 compre un telefono horizonte-ouku,

desde hace 15 dias aproximadamente la bateria cada vez me dura muy poco (en estos momentos no me llega ni a 20 minutos simplemente estando en stand-by) parece que la bateria esta en mal estado. cuando conecto el telefono para cargar la bateria todo va bien pero al cabo de poco rato ya no carga mas.

el telefono mientras lo tengo conectado a la corriente o al ordenador funciona bien, pero en cuanto lo desconecto de pocos minutos se me apaga (el indicador de bateria siempre me dice que esta baja aunque la haya cargado varias horas)

por favor ruego me digan que debo hacer para solucionar el problema.
