Can these earphones be used to watch TV as well as for computers?

I'd like to use these earphones to watch TV while everyone is sleeping, as well as for watching movies on my laptop while I'm running on the treadmill (and the laptops is not close-by). Can they be used for doing both? Thanks

Please be kindly noted that it can be used to watch TV as well as for computers.
Also, as long as the transmitter is in the same room with the earphone, it will work.
