Will i be able to listen as well as view on this camera by mobile phone, i noticed you have a microphone however i noticed on the pictures there is a plug in for 2 way audi output where does this go to? also where does the alam cables go too i thought this wuld work wirelessly to my router and then out to the internet.

Does this camera have memory ?

Is there a camera with a memory to record automatically?

Please kindly note that for IP cameras, they don't have memory. You can connect them to your PC so the records can be saved on your PC or the records can be viewed online via internet. Use of my camera and lighting conditions

I set my camera to focus on a window in my front door.
The window area shown on the control panel is too bright to view anyone that comes to my door.
The camera is at a lower level than the window and so I have used the tilt control upwards.
Is that a problem or is it some light balancing effect from the camera lens ?
Any suggestions on how I can get a clear display of my window area please ?

Do I need a Windows based computer to set up this camera or change settings?

I use Apple computers, and want to be sure this will be compatible. I see it connects directly to the router, but if I need to update firmware or change settings does the unit need to be connected to a computer, or can all settings and updates be done via router and iPhone controls?

Also, can I select my own DNS name or is it assigned by the device?

This camera supports operation system of Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows ME, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows 98. Sorry that it can't work with apple OS. If you want to change the setting, this item needs to be connected with the computer. The DNS is assigned by the device, you can't select your own DNS name. After initial setup, for daily operation, does the camera require a wired connection to a PC ?

I require a camera that will connect wirelessly to my router and the only wire to the camera for daily operation is the DC power cable. Does this camera fit the bill please ?

This is an IP camera. It doesn't need to be connected with the PC for daily use. You only need to wire it to the power. You can get access to the record anywhere via the internet. Hope you enjoy shopping here with us:)

Is there any external LED or equivalent that might give away the position of the camera? Also do you offer an extension cable for the power?
