If I was to order this dress in size 2 (as opposed to doing the custom measurements) would it arrive any earlier? or would it take just as long to ship ether way?

Since I am short (5 feet tall) im a little leary that the open side on this dress will come down to low. if I get it custom fit will that do anything to help it? I really love the look of this dress and want to get it for my prom, but dont want to do major altorations once i recieve the dress in order to get the opening at the appropriate spot if I did the costom fiting thing, Thanks
