I have been looking for a dress to wear to my daughter's wedding in June. I ordered this dress to try. My figure is a pear-shape and this dress is not flattering for my build. The dress is lovely, though, and nicely made. It is a pretty pale gold. I am trying to lose weight and hope that I will be able to wear it for future events. I would recommend this dress.

I ordered my wedding gown from LTB and was extremely thrilled by the end result. And again, I'm equally thrilled. I ordered this dress on 2/24/11 and received it today 3/21/11. Under a month, wonderful. I ordered this dress in lavender and it is true to the color chart provided. The dress is lined and boned and there is extra fabric for the straps, should they need to be longer. My sister is a size 4US and I will let you know exactly how the dress fits after she tries it on (it looks exactly correct though). Happy shopping! The dress was perfect. I had the tailor measurements done. It is a little big in the bust as I measured with a lightly padded bra when infact it has built in cups so doesn't need to be worn with a bra. I used the express post and received it in Australia in 6 days

Ordered one of these to see what it was like for my Bridesmaid dresses. The colour was a lovely red and they were beautifully made!!! Will be buying three more soon once i get the measurements for the girls!!!

Dress arrived this morning and in perfect condition. Fits like a glove and I love it. I would say it's longer than I anticpated but I don't mind that as this is for a December wedding and it will be freezing. All in all I was very happy with the customer service and the dress. I will definitely be purchasing from Light in the Box again.

Even though this is a special occasion dress, because of it's length and full skirt, I bought it to wear as a 50's style dress. I got the same colour as the picture, and it is gorgeous. With an inexpensive petticoat I bought here, a pearl necklace, the bow at the waist, the taffeta fabric, full skirt and length, it looks exactly like a dress out of 1955 for a fraction of the price you'd pay at a vintage style store. The bodice is a bit too low in the back to cover a bra, but there is enough lining and boning in the front that you can go without.
