Item arrived short order! Unexpected taxes made it C.O.D. No matter. I was alarmed that the GPS SD card was not in the box, and I couldn't check to see if it was installed like I was told by Customer support, because the screen needed to move out of the way, and that couldn't happen until it was powered up properly. The unit installed very quickly after soldering and shrink-wrapping the wiring to a Toyota harness (bought seperately- make sure you get one specific for your car- makes it really easy), although "custom" faceplate installation kit (acquired elsewhere) needed some whittling at the top as the movable LCD screen stuck up a little higher than expected and would not go to "home" position. Everything I have tested so far works really well- namely GPS (although a little "choppy" in frame rates). Haven't determined if it has voice navigation capability yet. (It does and has two nice voices to choose from. A bit talkative though). Bluetooth pairs quickly and runs nicely, and calls are fairly clear on both ends. Bluetooth streaming has a dead spot every once in a while. Rearview camera is not installed as yet, so I can't speak to it's quality yet. Should be okay. Should have gotten the wireless cam! The DVD lockout is not engaged as I couldn't figure out which wires to hook it to... yet. DVD playback is great, but standard 4:3 video gets stretched so people are short and fat. There may be an adjustment for that I haven't discovered. Brightness could be a bit better but watching DVDs isn't what I really got it for. I got it for the Bluetooth and the GPS. Aux is for "aux video" as opposed to "Aux audio". Don't have an IPod so I don't know how it works. As some people have mentioned, I think the actual clock function may have problems in keeping proper time (the simplest thing to have go right and it doesn't?! weird. There seems to be a setting to use GPS as a master for the clock- I'll look into that. If not- it's not the only clock in the car. -note- after a while a clock "screen saver" with Minnie Mouse on the face shows up. (it varies - YAY!) . Clock seems to have settled down now. RDS stopped working- see if it comes back. AM reception is clean. Some music on the SD card is causing it to lock up. it may be the type of mp3.
