i bought this about few weeks ago and i gotta say i'm impressed for the price, i been installing security cameras for 7-8 years and for an inexpensive camera it works great,i bought this one and the weatherproof apexis and both are hooked wirelessly , for outside i cut the end off the cable and used thermostat wire and ran it inside cause i had no outlet . took over a week to get but thats the only thing i was dissapointed with, i live in ct. usa, cant wait to try there wireless ptz camera and the 2.0 mega pixel ones, i included a picture at night .quality is descent.

I have had the camera for two weeks and I am very impressed, especially for the price. I have it set up on a baby iguana who's in a very large cage. I was concerned he couldn't get around ok and was falling and hurting himself. Well, I underestimated him but the camera took away my concerns.

The motion detector works extremely well and he has set the alarm off from a few feet away several times. It is a lot of fun looking at recorded videos when I get home from work. The night vision also works very well.

The only things I didn't like were the shipping rates and it took 3 weeks to deliver to my house. Also, trying to get the image of the camera on my phone was impossible with what little instructions there were for this. Unless you do networking you will definitely need some help with that. Luckily my friend is a networker and got my phone up and running in no time. I am really pleased with this product and it works great!

I bought 3 to monitor my house. I had a 4th that is a knock-off. All 4 work great but I expect the knockoff will quit working as firmware/software is upgraded. I'll buy an Apexis when that happens. I broke one cam for a time by upgrading to the wrong firmware. Check the China, vice US, web site for proper upgrade info. The cams are very easy to set up and picture quality day and night excellent. I would like more info on the cam's web server but that's the geek in me talking. The mult-cam mode of operation is just passable, the more cams I added, the less fluid the video became. Again, I'm not surprised since one cams web server must poll all the others to create the multi-cam web page. That's a lot of work for a little cam processor. I'll probably get the Blue Iris software to solve that problem. All in all a great value if you want a full featured cam system for hundreds not thousands of $$$.

The Cam is very easy to install and no problems.
