| Lovely dress - we are really pleased with it. The beading is pretty and the dress looks elegant. It is a little difficult sometimes to coax the zip past the pleated 'cummerbund' waist as the material is a little bulkier at that point. But we were expecting this to be a much less impressive dress than it turned out to be: the material is good quality. We could have done with it being cut just a little more generously across the shoulders: we measured the bust size very carefully, and this was fine, but the shoulders themselves were unexpectedly tight. If in doubt go for the next size up. Beware that there will be a hefty tax surcharge if you buy this in the UK. Although this is hinted at on the site in various places, there really ought to be a warning on the settlement page that this will NOT be your final bill. Expect £25+ extra on a dress like this. | |

| I purchased this dress in the cranberry color for my son's wedding. Needless to say, I am completely thrilled--it's beautiful, excellent workmanship, 100 times better than the picture, and the fabric is luxurious. I am ECSTATIC! I'm between a size 10 and 12 and had it made to measure--makes me look super skinny! I will definitely recommend to ALL my friends. Thank you Light in the Box! | I have just taken delivery of this dress in navy blue and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I felt I was taking rather a gamble ordering something online from another country but I couldn't be more delighted. The quality is excellent, the fit perfect (I opted for made to measure) and although I had to pay an extra £31 tax I'm so pleased with the dress it doesn't matter! I will definitely order again in the future as I find it a rather exhausting process looking for evening dresses that are age appropriate (I'm 47) but not something my Granny would wear! On the subject of arm holes, as in an earlier post, I would say mine are not overly large, no gaping, just right, I shall be wearing a bra underneath and there is no sign of it showing anywhere. | |

| Hello, I have ordered this dress in watermelon colour. It's lovely!!!! I ordered standard size 16 and it fits me perfectly!!! Am happy with the purchase but it took almost a month from ordering to actually receive the dress and I had to pay additional cost of 27£, which wasn't mentioned before. And one more thing the dress needs professional ironing before i can wear it cos it was wrapped in such a tiny box..... Overall experience very good. I would recommend to my friend! | |

| Beautifully made. Fabric is nice and the beading was gorgeous. It was a little big in the top and jacket which actually was alright, however the pants were really big. I did have to go and get them altered so I could wear them and I had paid for the custom measurements. Not sure if we measured wrong or they just make things bigger, but I couldn't wear the pants as is. Shipping was spot on. I ordered it with the anticipation of it taking 18 business days and it arrived in 17 business days. FANTASTIC! Overall I was very very happy with my purchase, and would definetly purchase from them again | |

| The dress took a few weeks to arrive but i had left plenty of time before our event. I am a large lady so do not look at all like the picture. That aside I am very pleased with the fit of my dress, i had it made to my own measurements, its feels very comfortable to wear. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of the materials used but also the finish. The picture does not really do the beaded effect justice. There are flexible bones fitted into the back of the dress allowing it to keep its shape. The dress has an outer chiffon layer, however the inside is a good quality heavier material which hangs well. The dress came complete with a small hook at the top of a good quality zip. Well done i am very impressed with your service and will consider you again. One small niggle was the Cash on delivery charge which did add quite a few pounds to my order, it might be helpful if this was made more explicit at the time of ordering but would still consider that i had good value for a hand made dress to my specific measurements. | The dress is well made. Fits very well. I am disappointed with the color. I ordered champagne, thinking it had more gold, yellow tones than brown. It makes me look washed out. I am having a little difficulity with the wrap. It is too big for me. It falls forward, or off the shoulders. On the model it seemed to be in place. That feature attracted me to the dress. I was impressed with the short turnaround, as my daughter ordered her wedding dress online in Feb, and still has not received it yet. I would consider ordering from your company again. | |
