I was really pleased with the standard of workmanship and the speed the dress arrived. The dress was exactly as shown, although the straps were too long and the length of dress was also way too long (I am 5"11 so tall anyway! so even with heels it still needed hemming. But preferred this easily fixed than being too tight or short! I wore this dress a couple of different ways- I removed the front train and wore with an ivory blazer over the dress for the ceremony, and then removed the blazer and the back train,then added a wrap for the reception which gave the dress two different looks that I was really happy with. I found the removable trains a great idea- especially as it poured with rain on our wedding day and the train got muddy and wet, but was easily removed and the dress looked like new!

hi! i really love this dress! but the one thing bothering me is the pleats. can it/they be removed?

Absolutely beautiful, really high quality. Ordered custom size and it's a perfect fit (although a bit long as other people have said so I'll be going for high heels, if you want to wear flatter shoes then order a couple of inches shorter than your measurement) The layered material on the chest makes this a great dress for flatter busted ladies like myself and the grecian style is classic and elegant. I had to pay over a hundred pounds in import tax on the three dresses I bought but they are such good quality I don't mind, they're worth it and I would have paid just as much, if not more, to get such lovely dresses here in the UK.

I just received this dress to wear for my 10 year vow renewal ceremony in May and all I can say is "WOW!!" I ordered it in the champagne color and it is exactly what I expected. The workmanship is beautiful. I, too, share some of the sentiments of the other reviewers. The tummy area is a bit snug. (I can solve that with losing 5 - 10 pounds!) However, the bust is big and I will have to have that altered. It is also VERY long. I am 5' 11" inches without shoes on and there is still plenty of length to wear heels and have it drape across the floor.
What I have saved in purchasing a dress, I do not might spending a bit for alterations. I hated the thought of spending hundreds of dollars on a dress that I would probably wear for one occasion. I wanted something special without paying the price that I did for a wedding dress 10 years ago.
It was shipped when promised and arrived packaged very carefully and thoughtfully. I would not hesitate to order another special occasion dress from Light in the Box!

I ordered this dress for my wedding. I ordered it 25 days ago and It just arrived today and it is GORGEOUS... the picture here really doesn't do any justice to this dress, since the actual dress is much prettier. I am really happy that I took the risk of ordering this dress. I ordered it in a custom size and it fits perfect! I absolutely love this dress and I defenitely will recommend it to everyone.

I ordered this dress which arrived within 3 weeks. It is more stunning than in the photograph and fitted perfectly. The only alteration I had to make was in the length. It looked beautiful and fitted perfectly and would recommend it to anyone. I received wonderful comments from guests and definitely made the right choice.

i love this dress but i wont be wearing it for a wedding. it will be for my prom. do ou think it is still ok to wear it?
