Fortunately I am an android cabbage and love it! I also have a Motorola 32Gig 10" Xoom and a 7" baby i use as a kindle.
The Rocket 2 has an excellent screen, sensitive to the touch, the sound is OK (don't expect hi-fi through the on board speakers, but for more serious listening ues either the HDMI or headphone socket. Mozart to Black sabbath Excellent. No GPS, but hey look at the price!

Does anybody know how to watch movies on netflix from your tablet? I have been trying for the 2 days now, and i have contacted netflix , they did help a little but didn't solve the problem. I also chatted with costumer service from light in the box but I have to wait 24 hrs for them to respond, honestly i don't want to wait any longer. Please somebody help me figure it out before my kids drive me insane! lol

Just be careful ordering anything from Light In The Box if you live in the U.K. I am not questioning the item I bought but the shipping and import charges are ridiculous. I purchased the Rocket 2 - 8 inch android tablet which was advertised at £63.76, which I thought "Great price" then there were the shipping charges which are £13.55, still not bad at £77.31. UPS have just been to my door to deliver the item and they are requesting an import tax of £36.16. Light In The Box is not at fault for these charges its the typical British tax on everything we have to pay, soon we will be paying tax to breathe!!!!!!!

This 8" tablet is great. I looks good and is a perfect size for the kids.. Its good value even though the vat and duty has to be paid its well worth the money.

its a little dark on display even if Brightness is selected to the highest.
Specs said it came with a USB port but it actually came with a micro USB port with this said my USB keyboard on case will not fit unless i use an adapter(included) but looks messy. videos and music player is good. touchscreen is good, display flickers once in awhile. overall not too bad!

начну с конца! Все понравилось, сервис отличный, результатом доволен!
теперь по порядку:
1. заказал 16.02.12 заказ был отправлен 22.02.12 (после подтверждения мною заказа(отправка скана (водительского удостоверения) Россия, видимо пока еще не доверяют.. :-)
2. получил свой заказ 12.03.12 (основную часть времени, больше недели заказ находился на таможне в Москве) из Москвы в Питер заказ пришел за 1 день. (очень удобно мониторить состояние заказа по системе EMS (сроки, для обычной доставки, 6-8 дней не реальны)
3. Как и большинству,( о чем есть отклики) вместо "Отело ночь" прислали "Dropad" , не криминально, но во втором варианте 3G внешний, и отсутствует HDMI кабель, хотя в комплекте указан, больше проблем нет. :-)
4. "девайс" понравился, не ожидал даже. заказывал из любопытства, посмотреть на их сервис и на продукт, какой он там у них.. :-) Оказалось, что очень даже ничего!:-)
5. WiFi поднялся моментально, без дополнительных танцев с бубном, после прописывании mac - адреса (фильтрация по mac)
6. "Девайс"- шустрый, видио приличное, камера (фронтальная) - слабовата, но если без притензий к ней, то замечательно.
7. хороший аккум, из коробки работал 5ч.43 мин.
8 на аудио файлах звук понравился, глубокий, правда с оговоркой, на сколько он может быть глубоким в пластиковой коробочке, не дребезжит.
Вот вообщем то и все. :-) рекомендую брать и пользоваться сервисом, ибо цены у нас на данные девайсы. считаю очень высокими!
