This dress is amazing! Beautiful style, excellent quality of material, fit me like a glove. I ordered a size 6, as I measured myself (according to the "how to measure" section on this site) and found that my measurments were almost exact to the stated measurments of a size 6 (I allowed 2 inches in every measurment to ensure I had a bit of room in the dress). I purchased the dress in black; the exact same as what the model in the picture is wearing and honestly the dress looks exactally as pictured. Also one thing to meantion, the dress really isn't that short (I know a lot of people writing questions on the site worry about how short these dresses really are). I am of average height (5 foot 5 inches) and the dress came down between my knees and my butt, so it was more than long enough for me to sit down in the dress and not be too short. The roushing around the middle stomach/waist is great if you are a bit consious of that area, and the built in bra with the boning is perfect.....no bra needed. The only complaint (the reason I didn't give LITB a perfect score of 5 stars) was because of the import charges. I live in Canada, and it cost me an extra $35.00 from the shipping company to get my dress. It would have been helpful if those charges would have been built into the price of the dress, as it was inconvenient to have to call the shipping company and pay for the extra charges on the phone. The shipping company had to make 2 attempts to deliver my dress as the first time I wasn't home, and they couldn't leave my dress at my house without the import charges being paid. But all in all, I LOVE LITB and will purchase from them again. I was just reciently married and all 5 of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses from LITB and they loved their dresses. This was the reason I bought this dress....I wanted one too. For the style selections, quality of material and quality of the work, I would reccomend this dress or any dress from LITB to anyone.

This is my first purchase (went custom) and I LOVE the fit! It is beautifully made, completely lined...WOW!! I am wearing it this weekend to a wedding and have the perfect shoes! Can't say enough good about his website, other than I am hooked!!

THis is the perfect dress I have been looking for. Can you tell me if the length can be increased just a tad bit? Just a tad bit too short for me but it is perfect in what I was looking for. Thank you.

ho preso quest'abito blu, a dir poco stupendo. ottima fattura e curato nei dettagli, ma essendo stata la prima volta che acquistavo da voi ho preso una taglia standard, purtroppo mi sta un pò grande dai fianchi e dal seno, lo farò stringere dalla sarta! quindi consiglio di mandare le proprie misure per evitare questo inconveniente! grazie mille..vi adotterò come sito ufficiale per i miei acquisti per grandi occasioni =) baci!!

Ho preso questo fantastico abito nel colore rosso.
E' bellissimo indossato. Magari però la prossima volta lo prendo su misura perchè questo mi va un po' grande sul seno.
Per il resto regala una siluette niente male, fascia ma non strizza.

As I said, I ordered a custom dress because I am very tall and also between the sizes they listed. I would definitely recommend this for plus sizes or women with big busts like me, but in the case that you are between sizes or if one of your measurements is at the maximum of your size, SIZE UP. In fact, even if you just feel you might need a little extra stretch, say, in you hips, its better to go up on size.

On a whim, I clicked on the Google Mail ad for this website, and I was pretty impressed by the expansive designs and the fact that these beautiful dresses could be custom-tailored on the cheap. So, I ordered this dress according to my measurements, which were directly in between sizes. I believe it took around 3 weeks for the dress to reach me.
The dress looked exactly as pictured, and in my measurements I made a note to them that I am very tall and asked them to consider this with the sleeve and skirt length. I will say the dress fits snug, and the material has little stretch, but this is clearly noted in the description, so I expected it. Basically, Light In The Box followed all of my requests to a tee; so if you want the dress to fit a little looser, say, in your hips, its up to you to add that to your measurements and that's just how you'll get it.
Finally, I just want to note that the dress was of SUCH high quality. I really was surprised that it was so well made, lined, etc. I did not think I would receive so much for this price. I believe there was one teeny tiny spot on the one hip where there was a little more space than the other, but my boyfriend and best friends could even see what I was talking about. I will definitely order again and have already recommended the site to my friends shopping for custom formal and wedding dresses. Thanks so much.
