I ordered two dresses. The dress itself is well made and attractive, but buyers should be aware that it fits very snugly. Also, one dress was ordered according to the size chart, and one with custom measurements. My only complaint is that the custom made dress is significantly shorter than the 'off the rack' dress. After receiving the dresses and noting the difference, I checked the size chart and noticed the lengths of the 'hollow to the floor' measurement was much longer than what I actually measured on my daughter for the custom one. When ordering I didn't think that measurement would make a difference in a knee-length dress. Is the 'hollow to the floor' measurement meant to be taken with heels on? The dress ended up not being knee-length, but a good two-three inches above the knee and for that reason the custom made dress was very disappointing.
Also, the order form asked for a phone number in the event of a question regarding my order. How I would have like it if the Light in the Box people, upon noticing the discrepancy in the 'hollow to the floor' measurement (which surely they did), would have called and asked me about it. This would have avoided my dissatisfaction. ~Mary
