Delivery to SF California was 4 days. I am very pleased with the appearance, quality, and operation. It looks exactly like one half an iPad. Aluminum back feels solid and the surface is very non-slip. It has a front camera only, but it's decent. The cam doesn't work with SKYPE yet,.. it says when you run Skype that this device isn't yet certified so expect some oddities.

I love the capacitive touch screen, it is as smooth and responsive as an iPad. Seems very fast, and battery life is good... just spent 2.5 hours using it continuously on NetFlix and Pandora, still have more than 50% left. Recharged that up in 35 minutes.

The color rendering isn't perfect, it's a little blue (or weak on red), but you really only notice next to a reference like the iPad showing the same screen. It's not at all distracting while watching movies or anything. View angle is fair, there's a sweet spot but not too narrow.

Exceeds my expectations in every way.so far.

Android oddities like the camera settings that are mixed up a bit but all there. Fast downloading, never dropped offline. Sound is weak but adequate and not raspy. No bass, an iPhone sounds a little better and a little louder. It would be hard to hear your NetFlix movie in a noisy room, like an airport, but that's what headphones are for. The microphone works very well for SKYPE, but videos don't play back MIC recordings well... but my PC plays the audio as recorded just fine... odd. USB and memory jacks.

I used it for 2 hours before I noticed a corner of the screen was peeling. I thought "here we go" but it was a screen protector. Removed it and now the screen is even more clear and precise.

I especially like the 4x3 aspect ratio for my uses, and the 7" is preferable to me too.. And it really could convince anyone that it is a new smaller iPad by its appearance.

  • Weeks later, still happy. Note that all speed tests show this to run at 1,0 mHz and not the advertised 1.2 mHz. Pandora works mostly, but no cover art (well, one in 20 songs) and it apparently can't play about 20% of the pandora songs, they load, it waits, it moves on to the next. Otherwise it seems fine, other apps do what they should. I think Android apps aren't as finished as Apple ones. I still recommend this pad. And it's cheaper yet now.

I really liked the size, weight and looks of this when I got it. Unfortunately it is now on it's way back since it had a malfunction where the screen went haywire within 4 minutes of turning it on. So now it is on it's way back, and hopefully the replacement will be functioning, because the little I could see and use of it I really liked it!

OK, then update - it took about 4 weeks to get it replaced, but this time before they sent the replacement they also promised to do a quality check to make sure it didn't happen again. Got it last night, and am REALLY enjoying it - nice product, and will likely consider getting one for my son as well, as he is already eying it enviously!

good service on the return/exchange!

This is my 1st Android device, so far I like it. Seems to do all the more expensive models advertise they do. Still getting use to it, but I am glad I bought it.

Delivery was pretty quick, it arrived earlier than expected. Be aware that customs duties may be levied if you live in the EU. I live in Ireland and was charged duty, but it was still very good value.

I bought this tablet to use for playing back MP3's whch it does perfectly (headphone out to a seperate stereo amp) using the built in player. It displays cover art etc. The screen is very responsive. Build quality is very good. The rear of the unit feels like it is made from aluminium, and feels nice in the hand.

It has full Android market support, so flash etc. is supported. Books are easliy readable on the Kindle app. System stability is fine - I haven't encountered a system crash yet.

it shipped with a two pin American power supply. I bought a converter in a local store (Argos) for €5.99 which works perfectly.

All in all, there is very little to fault this tablet. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Decent equipment for the money. I was a little sceptical of the RK29xx series CPU, but speeds are acceptable. Screen is acceptable for the money. Installed newer Android Market, some stuff intented for cell phones seems to crash, including my favorite live wallpaper. WIFI is good and battery is short, but acceptable for a unit at this price. Only thing missing is bluetooth for an outstanding Torque platform

Id have to say i was surprised with what this tablet can do, it downloads apps pretty fast and netflix works great on a good wifi signal..... Lightweight and small enough to go anywhere tough to say it isnt a mini ipad.... The only thing i didnt like was it wasnt preloaded with any apps and the camera is a lil shaky no flash either otherwise great buy for the price

In general it is a good purchase for its money value. The only reason I gave 3 stars is that it came with a dead pixel

- Processeur vraiment rapide
