parcel arrived only today, was 2 months, have not yet figured out a measuring device ... but does not reset the button is pressed for 3 seconds .. just removing power

    Do you have to cut existing wires to place the meter, and screw the wired onto the device?
    Or does it clamp on/around the cables without the need to cut the wires?
