while i was shopping this site for my first tablet, i ended up buying this tablet,just not from this site. it's not called the hondo. it's called the newsmy mypad. it only went goofy on me a couple of times but it's a decent tablet considering all factors. i paid $10 less at the site i got mine from but it connects to most networks just fine unless you have to jump through all kinds of private security hoops. the accuracy of the touchscreen is 8/10. sometimes you need to aim just below what you want to press. i haven't tested it for things like tumblr and youtube yet due to connection issues on my end unrelated to the device but games and apps work fine. sometimes you get a force close but it's not terribly annoying. downside(s),the anzhi app which is essentially google playstore for china doesn't translate into any language and typing in the name of the app for a search is a coin toss to get what you want. file transfer and music is good. you can get spotify through anzhi and it works just fine. facebook, google mail and all other email and basic websites work fine too. the opening for a camera but no camera is a bit insulting. if newsmy rolls out a new version, they should consider a camera and translators. also the battery life is extremely decent. way better than my htc smartphone(they should take note). you can laeve it unplugged for at most three days and the power stores won't degrade horribly. so all in all the translation issue is really the only negative. that and google playstore won't recognize the device(though i haven't experimented extensively with this function and i think it's because anzhi is the factory installed app). good deal for the price.
