This is a beautiful, elegant, timeless dress. I ordered it for a solo musical performance I will give next month. I ordered the dress with custom measurements, and it turned out mostly well. Everything fit perfectly except for the hips (they were too tight), which is odd since I added an extra 1/2 inch to ensure everything would fit well. It's ok, I took it to my trusty seamstress, and all will be wonderful. The slit in the front of the dress is rather large (and I'm not really a conservative dresser), so I will have that shortened a bit. It is very va-va-voom, but in a classy way!

The train is GORGEOUS. Very dramatic! This dress is definitely evening attire for a formal event.

One more thing I must mention: I have found that it is quite difficult to get into the dress. You will almost undoubtedly need someone to always help you to tie the corset back, but it is worth it! The corset back is wonderful because you can make the dress as loose or as tight as you'd like. It really accentuates your waist and minimizes your hips, which is great for my slight pear-shaped body. The dress really does create an hourglass shape because of the corset back and the volume at the bottom of the dress, plus the bust is padded, so no need for a bra! The dress will either balance your curves out or create curves... universally flattering! :) I will post a picture when I get my dress back from my seamstress.

This website is fantastic! I have been looking for months for the perfect dress and i can be very specific in my preferences. This dress is classic yet outstanding. Not just that! i know it will fit because its being made to measure. That is real service. I sure hope it looks as good in person. i guess look out for that review aswell. I am also hoping to get the dream - satin gown and matching satin shoes for under 400 dollars. I am going to feel like such a princess at the ball this year...

Dress is perfect. I got it in white as im using it as my wedding dress and i am glad i did. All details on the dress are just as they are shown in the picture.It sits perfect i was worried it would twist when i walked in it but it does not you dont even know the split is in the dress when moving

If you'd like the dress longer to better fit a high heel, just add the length you need on to your hollow to the floor measurement (e.g. if you'd like to wear 12cm heels, just add 7cm to your hollow to floor length).
