I was surprised by the good quality of this cam.., very clear view. Also in the dark correctly 20m view, connecting to my network took 2 hours and thats fast for a noob like me!! :-) shipping from china/belgium in 4 days!!! Echt een aanrader voor de doe-het-zelf security installateur!!!

    Here is what I am trying to do. Set the camera up with a router. Use a pc/ laptop to connect to it and configure the SD Card and motion detection to record to the SD card. Then disconnect the pc/laptop and come back later to see if the camera has recorded anything to the SD Card. This will not be on the internet.

    Does the camera need a pc/laptop or other device to record video or stills to the SD Card?
    Can it be set up to record to the SD Card with motion detected between certain times?
