READY TO FLY DESIGN
The hardware mounting and software tuning are all done prior to delivery. The Auto-Pathfinderis ready to fly the moment you unpack it, you just need to attach propellors, charge the LiPo and install the transmitter batteries before use.

CONTAINS REMOTE CONTROL UNIT. (JUST ADD 4 X AA BATTERIES)
Auto-Pathfindercontains a remote controller and receiver, which help the user to completely avoid the inconvenience of purchasing such things. The only thing you need to do is to add TX batteries (4x AA dry cell). The 2.4 G ISM frequency makes the effective control distance up to 300 meters (can be impacted by the specific flight environment). The frequency hopping anti-interference design allows multiple remote controllers to work at the same time, and provides a reliable remote communications link.

STABLE, YET AGILE PERFORMANCE, EASY TO FLY
Auto-Pathfinderhas an integrated flight dynamics system, the MX + GPS multi-rotor autopilot system, as well as the dedicated remote controller and receiver. Flight parameters and functions have been setup before delivery, so you can fly your Auto-Pathfinder the moment you receive it. The proven stability of the MX autopilot system allows you to easily achieve great flight performance.

TWO FLIGHT CONTROL MODES, INCLUDING POSITION HOLD
With the built-in MX autopilot system plus a GPS module, the Auto-Pathfinder has GPS Attitude and Attitude Control Mode. Pilots can switch between the two modes to achieve a particular flight experience.

INTELLIGENT ORIENTATION CONTROL (IOC)
Auto-Pathfinderalso has the Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC) function of the MX autopilot system. Usually, the forward direction of a flying multi-rotor is the same as the nose direction. By using Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC), wherever the nose points, the forward direction has nothing to do with nose direction: In course lock flying, the forward direction is the same as a recorded nose direction. In home lock flying, the forward direction is the same as the direction from home point to the multi-rotor.

FAILSAFE & AUTO GO HOME/LANDING
Auto-Pathfinderalso has the failsafe function of the MX autopilot system. This means when the communication between the Mx Controller and the transmitter is disconnected, the outputs of all command sticks from controller will go to the center position. If the GPS signal is good enough, the system will automatically trigger Return To Home and will land safely.

LOW VOLTAGE PROTECTION
Auto-Pathfinderalso has two levels of low voltage protection, a function of the MX autopilot system. It prevents your multi-rotor from crashing or other harmful consequences caused by low battery voltage. In the first level of protection, the LED indicator blinks and makes a sound of “Bi-Bi-Bi” to warn you. In the second level protection the system will trigger the Auto-Pathfinder to land automatically.

MAXIMUM FLIGHT SPEED 10 M/S
The maximum horizontal flight speed of the Auto-Pathfindercan reach 10m/s and the maximum vertical speed is 6 m/s. The perfect combination of speed and stability allows you to experience the glamour of Auto-Pathfinder.

HIGH INTENSITY LED LIGHTS, TO AID ORIENTATION DURING FLIGHT
Under each arm of the Auto-Pathfinderthere are some high intensity LED indicators which are used to help you to see the orientation during flight.

GOPRO CAMERA MOUNT (CAMERA NOT INCLUDED)
Auto-Pathfinderhas an external removable camera mount for you to mount light and handy cameras (GoPro for example) or other video shooting electronic equipment. It is very convenient for you to record your flight.

  • Q:What is Transmitter Option?
  • A:The RC Transmitters have two options: "Mode 1" and "Mode 2"
  • Mode 1: It means "Right Throttle Hand". It is also be called Japenese Hand. The throttle button will be on the Right side of the transmmitter and the direction control button will be on the left.

    Mode 2: It means “Left Throttle Hand”. It is also be called American Hand. The throttle will be on the left of the transmmitter and the direction control button will be on the right.

    If there is no special explanation, the transmitter will be "Mode 2"

  • Q:Why even though all blades spin, the quadcopter still cannot flip / rotate / take off?
  • A:1. Battery power is insufficient, recharge the battery;
  • 2. Check whether the blades are installed correctly.

  • Q:Why one of the blades does not spin?
  • A:1. Check the tightness of the blades;
  • 2. Remove the blade that does not spin to see if the motor is working properly;

  • 3. If the motor does not work, check whether the motor gear is connected properly;

  • 4. Remove the body shell, check if the motor cable is connected to the mainboard appropriately.

  • Q:How to bind the quadcopter and the transmitter?
  • A:First turn on the quadcopter power switch, place it on a horizontal position, then turn on the transmitter. Push the left throttle lever to the highest position, and then pull it back to the lowest position. You will hear a clear “di, di” sound and the indicator light will stop flashing and just stay lit, meaning the frequency adjustment is completed and your quadcopter is ready to take off.

  • A:1. Battery power is insufficient, recharge the battery;

  • A:1. Check the tightness of the blades ;
  • 2. Adjust the trim key ;

  • 3. Re-modulate the frequency, the quadcopter must be put on a flat ground;

  • 4. Re-calibrate gyroscope.

  • Q:How to distinguish the steering of a blade?
  • A:Blades are usually marked with A , B or R; A refers to forward blade, B means inverted blade. Blades with R mark are forward blades, inverted blades are without R mark. Diagonal direction blades have the same steering, adjacent blades have opposite steering.

  • Q:How to judge the steering of a motor?
  • A:1. Usually, motor with red and blue wires is usually a forward motor, while the reversed motor presents black and white wires; Diagonal direction motors have the same steering, adjacent motors have opposite steering.2. On the motor surface sometimes you can find CW or CCW. CW stands for forward motor, while CCW refers to reversed motor.

  • A:1. Check and make sure that the batteries are installed by the right polarity.

  • Q:Why the voltage of single battery cell is lower?
  • A:Single battery cell voltage imbalance is a normal phenomenon. Large current discharge will usually lead to voltage difference.This may be caused by poor contact between battery and charger, and the customer should adopt balance charge mode to charge the battery.
