Posting this because I'm so happy with my purchase! It wasn't my ideal dress initially but I knew I could carry it off so I bought it after discussing with my fiance. I got a UK8 (US4) and altered down to a UK6. I'm petite by Asian standards (1.58cm). When I saw it IRL a month later, I fell in love with the French lace. It's so luxurious looking and the champagne gold lining blends in with my light olive skin.
Like what the rest says, the champagne gold lining is super obvious but it's not a major concern for me after I tried it on. Rather, these are: 1) The back buttons are sewn together with the zipper and doesn't sit nicely along the back. It droops due to the sloppy job. But I'm not too bothered; the full detailing of this lovely gown is going to take away the attention of the sloppy back buttons. 2) And the bra padding do peek out a little from my line of sight so I can see the bra pads clearly whenever I look down at my boobs. Well, I'm nitpicking. The pros outweigh the cons.
Did I regret getting it? Never. I can't wait to wow my friends and family on the actual day 30 Jan 2016. Trying my best to keep it discreet till then!
