Good camera using HI3518c controller, no RTC battery onboard which other Zoneway units have. This is probably not a true "zoneway" since all code is marked as Jovision IPC instead. This is using a lower tier HiSilicon controller and not one of the typical klv123 root password units. Wish could find true firmware for unit to access the linux shell on device. Need to disable china servers that the camera accesses as well as re-compile firmware. Web interface VERY "basic" but ONVIF bypasses the need for any web access.
Bad: direct access to username/password on camera via cgi tool on camera, this is why I want the root password for device. NTP doesnt seem to work, need to set clock on every reboot. Wants to use an NTP server in china, static and cant be changed.
