This is an absolutely beautiful dress! I was concerned about the color because the swatch shone on the color swatches page looked more subdued, but the dress color is exactly as shown a vibrant fiery red. Modeling the dress, my daughter observed "Mom you look regal!" Only thing I would warn about is that it is as long as shown (I am 56" and bought a size 16). I will have to have it hemmed for my purposes. The sizing runs true to the charts. I fell between sizes 1416 and the 16 is a smidge big on me. The lace around the neckline is a bit rough so I will probably trim it with scissors (it is the loose edge of a large pattern fabric lace used in the bodice). The dress fits well and is beautifully lined with a high quality fabric giving it an expensive feel with a smooth line.
