I was able to salvage and re-deploy my Solar Powered Bollard landscape lights. After a while the Solar looses the brightness even after replacing the batteries and is not able to maintain a charge for any lengthy period of time. My landscape lights are now brighter and last throughout the night. I was able to re-assign an existing transformer. All completed at a fraction of the cost for new low voltage Bollard Landscape Lights.

What I like about these bulbs is that I use them to replace the halogen bulbs that came with my landscape lighting system and you cant tell the difference. They put out a nice "warm" light, not the harsh blue lights of many LED bulbs. They do a fantastic job of lighting the pathway to our front door and put out the equivalent of a 10w halogen light bulb. Our pathway looks great we have 8 pathway lights, and these bulbs are more than enough for anyone to walk up to our front door and have plenty of light to see where they are walking.

These bulbs have enough wattage to keep my legacy ballasts from shutting off due to a protection circuit that will cut power if enough power draw isnt being detected. My previous attempt with 1.5w led bulbs did not work. The bulbs themselves are as bright as the halogens but run much cooler and at a fraction of the wattage. However keep in mind these bulbs are generally bigger so they may not fit in small enclosures. I replaced the bulbs in my under cabinet lighting pucks and could not get my glass cover back on. I bent the bulb bins by 30 degrees or so to force the bulbs upwards the housing and was able to make them fit.
