Purchased this hat to protect me from the Florida sun where I fish from a boat at least twice a week. I previously had a hat that came from the company that shares the name of the largest river in the Pacific Northwest, and I like my new hat better for a couple of reasons. It has a wider brim 15.5 inches than my original hat 13 inches and the snaps provided make removing the neck and face guards a simple process. Since this hat provides excellent protecting from the sun, I hope to make less frequent visits to my dermatologist.
