Loved this dress! turned out better then i hoped! i ordered it for my school formal and everyone loved it!
I got the lavender color and it worked really well with the silver, in person it looks more purple then the photo :)
It arrived a little earlier then what was said, i ordered it as the quickest route (expedited) i recommend everyone to choose that shipping method it really does turn up quicker! i ordered this dress on July 11th and left for shipping to Australia on July 21st and arrived on July the 26th. Great shipping time and gave me notifications on where it was heading at all times!
I got size 2, however i did get the train cut off as it was too long and got the dress taken in slightly up the top because it was a tinnnny bit big because it was heavy up the top. But everyones body is different and in the end the dress was so beautiful i never wanted to take it off!
I wore the dress for a couple of hours and the silver bit around the top stayed on and nothing fell apart, it is very well put together. The silver detail in person is way better then any photo you will be happily surprised :) It also has padding inside so there is no need to wear a bra and you can adjust the tightness a little by straps inside the dress, you cant see the straps when the dress is on.

I got a size two, I also got it altered just to shorten the length and tighten the bust area. besides that everything else was perfect
With expedited shipping I recieved the dress only a couple of days later

i got the dress in champagne and im so glad i got it in the end. more beautiful than i expected, and I got so many compliments on it. literally, i have never gotten so many compliments on a dress!! quality and fit was all good. one thing i would warn others about in getting this dress is to order it well in advance, at least a month ahead, and to hassle customer service about getting your dress on time. I ordered mine a little less than a month ahead, like two days short, and it almost didnt come in time for my prom. but i made sure to keep contacting customer service, and it came a day before my prom in the end. besides the time it takes to get to the US, i loved everything about the dress!!!

Arrived on time and was packaged really well. Train was verrrry long, but that was easily shortened. The colour was different to what anyone else had and I got many compliments. Will definitely recommend lightinthebox to others!

The dress is gorgeous, exactly as described and shown on the light in the box website. The fabric is of quality and the embroidery and finish were very well done! I only have compliments to make to the quality of the product. I bought the dress in sage green, made based on the measurements I sent. Its syrup is quite long and is, however, shorter in the front. If you plan to wear a very high heel shoe, I recommend that you place the height measure a little higher. I made the order on 11/03/13 and received the notification of the shipment on 01/04/13, since it was tailor-made. On 04/18/13 the product arrived at the Courier of my city (Belo Horizonte MG Brazil). The only criticism I make is regarding a shipping fee, called "ems" that I had to pay for the product to be delivered more quickly. There was no other option at the time of purchase. The Shipping Insurance Fee I also paid, but this was by my choice. To help those who live in Brazil and want to buy the dress, I have inserted everything I paid for: Dress Value: BRL R $ 429,24 ems: BRL R $ 111,72 Shipping Insurance Rates: BRL R $ 14,58 Total Final: BRL R $ 555,54 In the invoice of the Credit Card this amount increased to R $ 631.88, due to the IOF rate and conversions of the Dolar on the date of collection. At the time of the withdrawal, in the mail, there were also the collection of two more taxes, federal and state (from Minas Gerais) that totaled in the amount of R $ 273.00. In total, the dress cost me approximately R $ 900.00. Fiz o pedido no dia 11/03/13 e recebi a comunicação do envio no dia 01/04/13, já que ele foi feito sob medida. No dia 18/04/13 o produto chegou ao Correio de minha cidade (Belo Horizonte MG Brasil).

DRESS ITSELF: Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. I got this dress in Pearl Pink and it looks just like it does in the picture except better in real life because you can appreciate the dress better in real life. The chiffon is really nice and floaty and the quality IS SO NICE. This is cheaper than most things of similar caliber on PromGirl/Nordstrom/Macys but 1000000x prettier.
Overall I am beyond satisfied. Thank you Lightinthebox for giving me my perfect senior prom dress ^___^ In four days too! Im still reeling over that ahaha. This was great! I ordered the dress with custom sizing. Im 52" and entere my measurements as Bust (Inch):31.5, Waist (Inch):24, Hips (Inch):35, Hollow to Floor (Inch):52, Height (Inch):62

I was notified due to some confusion with the hollow to floor measurements that my order was delayed. We did clear up the measurement issue.

Although we did have some problems with the measurements I provided, we got that cleared up within a few hours. If you fear some sort of problem be sure to check your emails because they will notify you via email.
The dress DOES have a train and they will not remove it for you, so if you dont want it you will need to have it tailored or trim it yourself, its not that hard.
Personally, my dress was TOO tight. I gave the measurements that the woman gave me at a bridal shop so maybe she measured me wrong or I could just be bloated due to this time of the month so I am going to check in a few days. LITB says that they provide extra fabric in the seam so hopefully I can get the dress resized so I can breathe in it. Although I dont know for sure yet whether or not they do provide the extra fabric or where to locate it.
The sweet heart neckline does curl outwards, I think it is due to the boning in the dress & sewing but I think if you put a clip on it to bend it inward for a few days it should help it out.
The top part of my dress is not heavy as others have stated but its probably because Its tight so its holding its self up. You want the dress to fit snug so it doesnt fall down just be careful with measurements. I would suggest giving yourself about an extra 1 in. on the bust area and waist. Its better to have it TOO BIG then TOO SMALL because if its too small there is almost no going back. So keep that in mind!
If I could go back I would just skip the measurements and save my money and just order a size 2. I do love the dress besides that I cant breathe when I wear it, but I think it should be able to be fixed.
My event, The USMC Ball isnt until Nov 9 2012 so I wont have an answer to whether or not it has extra fabric in the seam and I wont have full body pictures till afterwards but I will be sure to post them to help you all out.

I was notified due to some confusion with the hollow to floor measurements that my order was delayed. We did clear up the measurement issue.
ACTUAL SHIPPING DATE: October 22, 2012
Iit actually shipped two days earlier then the original estimated ship date above.
ARRIVAL DATE: October 26, 2012 @ 5:30 p.m via FedEx
Although we did have some problems with the measurements I provided, we got that cleared up within a few hours. If you fear some sort of problem be sure to check your emails because they will notify you via email.
The dress DOES have a train and they will not remove it for you, so if you dont want it you will need to have it tailored or trim it yourself, its not that hard.
Personally, my dress was TOO tight. I gave the measurements that the woman gave me at a bridal shop so maybe she measured me wrong or I could just be bloated due to this time of the month so I am going to check in a few days. LITB says that they provide extra fabric in the seam so hopefully I can get the dress resized so I can breathe in it. Although I dont know for sure yet whether or not they do provide the extra fabric or where to locate it.
The sweet heart neckline does curl outwards, I think it is due to the boning in the dress & sewing but I think if you put a clip on it to bend it inward for a few days it should help it out.
The top part of my dress is not heavy as others have stated but its probably because Its tight so its holding its self up. You want the dress to fit snug so it doesnt fall down just be careful with measurements. I would suggest giving yourself about an extra 1 in. on the bust area and waist. Its better to have it TOO BIG then TOO SMALL because if its too small there is almost no going back. So keep that in mind!
If I could go back I would just skip the measurements and save my money and just order a size 2. I do love the dress besides that I cant breathe when I wear it, but I think it should be able to be fixed.
