I am 51, hourglass shaped. This dress came in a little under 1 month costom sized. Overall very well made. Good sturdy fabric, well sewn. It is quite true to the photos, the red is vibrant and consistant with the model photos.
A few things, there seems to be a sort of mini train in the front. you have your satin layer, then criss crossed on top is the chiffon layer, then a little to the side there is a 3 inch "train" in the front. For those worried about the opening, mine was only about 12 feet off the ground, barely up to my knees. I dont think that will be much of a worry for anyone.
If you are costomizing, i suggest those with an hourglass shape give smaller measurements for the hips. Because i get bigger by the hips, it drapes over my hips and flares out a little, making my bottom half look unappealingly large. there is quite a lot of space in fabic at my hips, so i will have to take it in to tighten it up a bit so the bottom looks more flattering. Dress also came slightly larger than my measurements, even after I asked to take out the 5cm they automatically add to the bottom (I am in 4inch heels in this photo to make up for long dress)
Overall a good purchase. Not extremely flattering on hourglass body shapes, but if you can get the bottom slightly tighter (through costom sizing or tailoring) then it will be a beatiful dress!
Having it shipped from China to the west coast of Canada totaled to $80 (CAD) import tax which is extremely rediculous. If you live in Canada, try to get it shipped to the states to pick up. Just got this dress in the mail a couple days ago.. I definitely recommend it to everyone!!! Its a beautiful red dress made with great material. Im about 5 ft 6 and I got a size 4 and it fits great! The length is nice too I dont even need to get it tailored. Also the color is very flattering. Im naturally tan and it works well. Great buy!!

Im happy with this dress! I orderet it tailormade. After I recieved it, I had to narrow the upper part. But only a little bit. I only can say that it was a good idea to order here. The toll costs were CHF 38.50 for shipping in Swizerland.

I ordered this dress in white for my prom (we have to wear white). The dress arrived just in two days (to Istanbul) but it got stuck at the custom and we had to pay an amount around 80 euros and I finally reached my dress. It was quite large for me (I had ordered the size 4) so we gave it to the tailor and in the end, my dress was perfect! I am really glad that I chosed Lightinthebox and I would definitely recommend it!
