I was a bit nervous about buying something as important as a wedding dress sight unseen, but I am thrilled with the result. I got the dressed made to my measurements make sure that you watch the how to take measurements tape, this was very helpful. We were careful to get it right and the dress fits well as a result. The dress has more of a train, than is apparent in the picture, but overall it was represented well and it was well made, inside and out.

This dress was probably the first or second on the website that I saw and I just couldnt go past it, it was me all over. My friends thought that I was nuts buying something online (they told me this AFTER I had bought it and it arrived) but I got the best compliments about the dress on the big day and I couldnt be happier.
It wasnt a perfect fit around the bust but I had lost a little weight from when I ordered it to when it arrived. In addition I provided my measurements to get a custom made gown. I was lucky to have a friend who is a dressmaker who added keepers on the inside of my dress to keep my bra straps from showing. Because the dress didnt fit firmly I had a buy a bra (Im a mother of two, one 8 months and the other is 2 1/2 yrs, so the girls have started heading south and needed some help traveling back up to the north), and my friend also put in some stitching on the inside of the front of the bodice to pull it in again so that the girls wouldnt pop out on the big day and say HELLO!
A small amount of the lining had been caught up in the bodice and rather than try and release the thread (which would have released all of the beading around the waist) my friend just clipped the smallest amount of the lining to free it but you would never know!
I think that for the price you would be mad not to take a punt on buying a dress from Lightinthebox, ironically it cost more to have it dry cleaned that it was to buy it. I bought another dress at the same time which I wore for prewedding photos and it was gorgeous again not quite a 100% fit in the bust but no adjustments were required.
The time to make the dress and ship to Australia was bang on the estimation provided at the time of purchase.

I ordered it to be custom made to my measurements, although was a bit wary as i have a big bust, and long legs. When i tried it on at first, i thought that i didnt like it, basically as it was too big and didnt sit right at the bust area, although the quality and look of the dress was fantastic. It cost me £80 to get the dress altered and steamed, but i felt the end result was well worth it. The lace sleeves were a lovely touch, the train is really quite long and the dress is actually quite heavy!
I opted for a non strapless dress because of the big bust so i could wear a bra, but the shoulders are too wide for this, and i went without, which was fine as the built in support was secure when the dress had been altered. the wide shoulders provided a lovely neck line, albeit sometimes when i sat down it felt a bit cleavagey.
It cost about £60 for the customs charge, but with this, the alterations and the postage my dress, which received no end of compliments was about £300 in total.
I felt like a princess, and would urge people not to be scared of ordering online!! Good luck to all you brides to be xx

People are amazed that this dress did not cost thousands of dollars. It is stunning, well made and fit me like a glove (my measurements fit the size 12 chart). I only needed to get it hemmed. It arrived exactly one month after ordering it. We went to Italy for a destination wedding. After traveling so long, the dress only required steaming on the sleeves and hem. The lace and pearl detail are exquisite. In the picture is also a LITB veil, which we added more pearls to and rhinestones. If you want an alternative to strapless, but still want to look feminine, this is the dress!! Thank you so much, Light In The Box!

Wore this beautiful dress at my wedding and I loved it! It arrived in a timely fashion (about 4 weeks after my custom tailor online order) and fit perfectly. I didnt need to have it altered at all. It was comfortable and I felt lovely in it. The builtin bra worked perfectly, even for a larger size D like myself. I included a couple of pictures to show how smoothly it moved with me down the aisle and hung well while standing. I also ordered my four bridesmaids dresses from Lightinthebox and both the bridesmaids and I were pleased with those as well!

Olá, Fiz o meu pedido no dia 06 de março, no dia 06 de abril ele foi postado na china e no dia 17 de abril já estava disponível no correio pra eu retirálo. Tive que pagar uma taxa de 171,00 para retirálo. Tava com muito medo de nao chegar á tempo, mas veio até rápido!! O vestido é lindooooooooooo, maravilhosooo. Bem costurado, forrado e com caimendo perfeito. Mandei fazer sob encomenda e ficou certinho!! Recomendadíssimo.
