I ordered this dress for my daughters communion and what an amazing experience it was shopping with Light in the box! Firstly the dress is far more beautiful than in the picture and the quality is unbelievable!!
The service was the best I have ever had with regular notification of the progress and the fun me and my little girl had tracking the dress on its journey to us made it feel even more special.
The dress arrived exactly when they said it would.
The measurements were very helpful and although I was worried about buying it online without tring it on,there was no need to worry at all!!
Fantastic service, products and an absolute pleasure from start to finish.

This dress was absolutley amazing! Fitted like a dream. She is quite tall so we ordered the child size 9! It was perfect a true princess on her First Holy Communion We also ordered the under skirt which made the whole thing come together nicely. Just amazing service that I will definately be ordering my second daughters communion dress from you. At such low prices theres no need to pass them down. :)

Bought for daughters communion in Ireland, fit like a glove purchased age 7 she is 8 but skinny so followed measurements given, fits like a glove she loves it and is very fussy. No skimping on material the skirt section had 5 layers and it looks a lot more expensive than it actually was. Gorgeous a relief this is the only dress she liked and we had done the whole Dublin shopping hunt and came home empty handed. Thanks

It is a very well made dress. The material is soft silk on the inside so she will be comfotable. I did buy it for my flower girl dress. My dress has lace applicay on it and it matches perfect. I love tha way the dress bunches on the side it definitly draws your eyes to the whole shape of this darling little gown, She is so excited. My daughter cannot to get it altered to be able to fit it. Advice: My custom ordering did not come like it was suppose to. the dress is two inces to small. Not worth the extra cost to get custom sizing.

I ordered this dress for my daughter in the dark green for a Christmas family wedding. it was absolutely stunning. I had it custom sized, I sent on her measurements and truthfully I was a little worried but there is a guide on how and where to measure and it fit her perfectly it was literally made for her. the delivery time was what they said it would be and it arrived to Ireland in 3 weeks. She is getting her holy communion next year so I will buying again. Would highly recommend.

I ordered this dress for my daughters communion. I loved the way it looked in the photos and was heartened by the reviewer photos of their daughters looking so beautiful in this dress. My daughter has just turned 8, but is quite tall so I measured her and the size recommended was 8. The dress arrived exactly 3 weeks after I ordered it and I was so happy with it. It feels quite heavy and looks exactly as it does in the photo. The finish is very good and with the lovely detailing I would not be able to differentiate it from some of the very expensive dresses I have looked at. My daughter is thrilled with it as it is sparkly enough to appeal to her, but tasteful enough to keep me happy. I ordered it in white and it is properly white I know some people were concerned about the shade. Great job Light in the Box. You have a repeat customer in me.

I purchased this dress for my daughters first holy communion and as it is such a special occasion i was extremely dubious about ordering online. Having searched various shops we couldnt find a dress that my daughter was truly happy with and then we saw this one. My daughter is eight, almost nine and i would have ordered a size nine as she is quite tall for her age however following the measuring guide it indicated a size 8. I trusted the recommendation and ordered a size eight and the dress arrived yesterday (ordered on the 03/04/13 and arrived on the 18/4/13 in ireland). it is simply stunning and the photograph online does not do justice to how the product looks when she is wearing it. The materials are of a high quality, as is the workmanship and she is delighted to have found the perfect dress! It fits her like a glove and no alterations are required. I didnt order an undergarment as i didnt want the dress to look quite as wide as it does in the picture and this was the right thing to do as my daughter is very slender and the material is so thick and layered that it just sits perfectly when she is wearing it. I was slightly worried when it arrived as the box was extremely small but the dress is vacuum packed inside to protect it and once opened we were amazed. I would definitely recommend both the company and the dress and intend to order future products. Thank you for making sure my daughter is going to look like a princess on her special day! :) N.B I will upload a photograph in May.
