I was very nervous about ordering a dress online without being able to try it on. Based on the previous reviews, I decided to take a chance and Im so glad I did!
I ordered the dress on October 19th and I needed it to arrive before November 11th as the timeframe and cust. service rep I spoke with estimated it would arrive on November 10th.
I was nervous it wouldnt arrive on time but it was delivered today! It only took a total of 14 days or 10 working days...I am so amazed!!! Now I can wear it to a black tie event I have this Saturday, as well as the original event I needed it for next Friday! And its such a great price!!
I never wear red but it looked so great on the model so I went for it and got it in red and I am sooo glad that I did. I dont look at all like the model :) but I wanted to attach a photo of me, I tried it on immediately when it arrived. I will post another one from the day of the event as well. Please excuse the terrible photo, my scowl and my claw hand, that was my first cell phone mirror photo and, well, its just awkward :) Judge the dress, not me!
I am 59 and my measurements fit the size 8 to a tee. I should be able to wear a 3 inch heel with the dress and it will still dust the floor. I dont have a large bust (34 B) and since the front of the dress doesnt plunge too much, it is very approproiate and shows just the right amount of skin, its sexy without being innapropriate. I do have on a padded push up bra to fill it out a little and give it a little lift :) but there are bra cups sewn the dress. It is very well lined and looks VERY well made.
It fits great and I will not need to alter it at all! I could not be happier with it!
The slit up the front does come up pretty high (as it shows in the model photo) so I may need to hand sew it down the front an inch or two just for a little more modesty....I am long waisted so others may not have the same issue as me with it coming up a little too high.
I would highly recommend this dress and buying from this website, it was a great experience!

I wore this dress today and I got soooo many compliments. It is a well made, beautiful dress. I dont like to wear sleeveless so it was perfect still adding in the "sexy" factor. Everyone asked me where I got it and could not believe that I ordered it online. I did take it to the tailor once I got it and they closed up the bust area a little for me. This was a pretty amazing purchase. Thank you

I ordered this dress for a wedding, it was absolutely AMAZING!!! I am about a size 14/16 and I did the custom measurements. It fit perfectly and was very well made. Finding a bra was a little tricky but thank god for Victoria Secret. It took a few weeks for the dress to ship so make sure to order in time for your event. But I would 100% order this dress again.

Gorgeous is the only word I have to describe this dress. I ordered a size 10 thinking it would save time on receiving the dress WRONG the dress still came in 5 weeks which was the same for customized sizing...anyway, the size 10 fit perfectly I am 56 and with a high heel I dont even need hemming. The built in bra is good and I feel well supported in the dress. It feels good on and is easy to wear. Three layers of fabric in all This maybe the best quality dress for the price that I have ever purchased.
Thanks Light In The Box I will order again. In fact I dont know if I will ever buy a gown off the rack again. : )

I decided to order this dress with custom measurements and I am so happy that I did! It fit like a glove! The front was a little revealing so I did have that sewn up a few inches, but that was just my personal preference. The dress was made really well and the fabric and sewing was done far more superior than I had expected. I got tons of compliments on my dress and I absolutely loved it. I will definitely be back to Light In the Box for any future dress needs!

I wore this dress to the Barristers ball and received lots of compliments. More importantly, I felt beautiful and very elegant wearing it. Thank you so much for altering it to my measurements! It fit like a glove.

FYI, Im wearing a black bandeau bratop because the neckline is very low.

I had heard a lot of nice things about this dress and this company, so I really wanted to order the dress for prom. I currently live in the UK and wanted it sent to me, but because my credit card was from a Norwegian bank, the dress had to be sent to Norway first before I could get it. When I received the dress, it didnt fit properly and I considered sending it back, but because it had to be sent to Norway first, the deadline for return was way past, so returning it was out of the question. In addition, I had to pay an extra £60 in import fee from FedEx, making the dress ridiculously expensive.
The dress is lovely in its own right in the colour Royal Blue. Fabric is light and flowy, and it looks quite stunning, but Im sad to say I wont be shopping here again, even though you have a great selection of dresses :(

The dress was beautifully made, and very classy. I wish I would have chosen a different color, and the dress was too big, so the top looked a bit like a coat in pictures. Im sure tailored to my measurements it would have looked amazing, and I was satisfied overall. If you notice in the picture I sewed in a piece of sparkly material to bring the neckline up. The dress was very comfortable, and flattering on a curvier size. I will definitely order again! Thanks!
